Kaale (Ka•lēē) Pope aka Kapp was born in South Bronx in January, 1992.  He was always known as the silent one, but his ear for music and his love for Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz, and many other genres motivated him to develop his own musical voice.  Through his many struggles and relocations throughout the years, he always found ways to keep his music alive.  Adapting to many different locations helped make Kapp the diverse artist he is today.  He continues to work at expanding his musical talents, such as playing the piano and guitar, and he is on his way to being the new baby-faced guru of the music industry.  Kapp has many great musical influences, including Old School artists such as Teddy Pendergrass and The Temptations, who he would listen to while riding around in his grandfathers taxi.  He is also greatly influenced by his favorite rap artists, including Jadakiss, Nas, Max B, Lil Boosie, Q-Tip, and Wiz (before the gold highlights, of course).  His love for the versatile music of the 90s, along with his rare creativity and powerful voice, sets him apart in today’s music industry where originality is hard to find.  Kapp’s unique style aims to educate as well as motivate, and he looks forward to continuing his musical journey and sharing it with others.
