Words:

Suburban winter glow
Jack Frost surprised me with a hug
He slipped inside my coat
And I was wildly shivering

The trees around me groaned
Like Atlas, wishing they could shrug
Away the icy load
Along their branches glimmering

And perched above my reach
A pair of eyes were watching me
Still as the fallen leaves
I stood entranced by majesty

Then she took to the air
Mere moments passed between us there
But I’m convinced that to the end
She’s my new aviary friend

Snowy owl
Flying through a monochrome sky
Somewhere warmer is beyond
Wishing you a radiant flight

Snowy owl
Find a new home on the green side
Winter wonder sealed our bond
You have mesmerized my eye

Snowy owl
Flying through a monochrome sky
Somewhere warmer is beyond
Watch your lucky stars tonight

Snowy owl
Promise you’ll return in due time
I’ll think of you as long as I
Live among the wildlife

Sail the world and let me know
Where the wondrous rainbow grows

I’ve been searching on the ground
And she evades my every sound

I'm a technical sound designer and electronic composer who can't decide between epic electronica or goofy synthpop. Help!
