Hope Is On The Dancefloor was the debut album, written and released in the middle of the storm, not after it passed back in June 2025

This project began with one song — “Hope” — the first track fully written and completed. That song became the foundation for everything that followed: a declaration that even when things are chaotic, uncertain, or falling apart, movement itself can keep you alive.

The album blends EDM, emotional house, and cinematic orchestral elements, pairing driving club beats with piano, strings, and soaring melodic moments. It’s music built for motion — not escape, not reflection — but continuing.

These tracks don’t document recovery.
They document endurance in real time.

Hope Is On The Dancefloor captures the moment where standing still isn’t an option, and hope isn’t something you wait for — it’s something you move with.

Jared Lucas (stage name Kap Slap) is most notably known for his mashups, mixes and original music. He built his sizable following as a touring DJ while finishing an Honors Integrated Business and Engineering degree from Lehigh University. 

Performing at universities and clubs across the country, the multitalented college-student-turned-DJ broke through thanks to his mashups and mixes – infusing the energy and groove of electronic dance music with everything from current pop hits to Motown classics. Kap Slap has since performed at major festivals, including KAABOO, Hangout Music Festival, Snow Globe, Made in America, Firefly Music Festival, as well as countless top venues and nightclubs.
