while clubs and parties were opening across Europe in the summer of 2021, the Lisbon rave scene slept like there was no tomorrow to wake up to: SASHA THEFT stood awake reminiscing on the times that gatherings brought nothing but pure joy to their spirit. with the aid of an old and heavy laptop, ‘Amphibian Intermission’ was born by symbiotically joining these feelings to the need for self-expression in less physical strategies twined with rookie playfulness.

‘Amphibian Intermission’ is the manifestation of a sentimental rave; a hybrid between blissful sounds that transport you to the 90s and a construction that could only result from our current days. a 40-minutes experience that seem to go by in a blink of an eye, with each track materializing a different sonic landscape that cohabit the same ecosound-system. willingly refusing to abide to genres, ‘Amphibian Intermission’ stands as a paraphernalia of rave music.

xenolith v2.0

@firest-prod is the italian duo of gabriele dessì and alessio bologna. we first heard their music in a weird moment in our label's process. uncertain whether it would become a vessel for publishing more personal projects or a platform in of itself. from the first demo, Firest's unique spin on production, recruiting analog synthesis, sensual vocal samples and distorted n glitched out percussion, helped solidify our view. their composition is experimental, flowing through hyperpop with a gentle touch of club music, and somehow, it all just feels intimate.

in their debut EP, 'Skin Fading', they blend dreamy and melancholic melodies with gritty drums using different electronic music genres as their framework. the result is something equal parts oneiric and violent, frantic yet peaceful; a highly rhythmic and bittersweet atmosphere carefully glued with focused choirs and voices.

in their own words: "Skin Fading is the first experiment of a long-term project that aims to convey multiple sensations simultaneously. the starting idea for each jam session was to generate very different emotions using melodies, drum sounds and create texture with vocal samples. these raw emotions packed with unpredictability and combined with typical club momentum, evoke meditative states while feeding the desire to dance in the listeners."

MechaWorks is a journey through the insides of the Machine, first with eerie tones and meditative melodies and winding deeper, down, evolving into an exploration of boundless soundscapes where a vast extent of human emotion is paired with an electronically organic sensibility. several artists looking in through different lenses at the same intrinsic simulation.

it is a compilation of different artists, mostly based in Lisbon, making use of different techniques, softwares and hardwares, uniting under the same concept of the Machine, each producing a sample of a different facet of its hegemony.

MechaWorks travels into and through consciousness to connect with something below, something common, something unconscious.

@spinningdjenny is the most infamous duo right now playing all raves and clubs north and central of Portugal.

Made up by Joana Moura Ferreira and João António Sousa, these Three-Named-Ravens are undeniably fierce dancefloor commanders. Confidently playing Ghetto-Techno and Trance they're guaranteed to always be a fucking mood.

Started at Radio Universidade de Coimbra (RUC) where they maintain their shows to the day and prove time and time again their collection is an endless sass fest. 

Part of Instrumental Violence, a Coimbra based collective, running actual underground events and booking the newer most urgent acts in a chaotic good fashion.

"dj genderfluid is the elusive techno trance star of queer techno label WET TRAX based in Toronto, Canada. They burst forth onto Techno Twitter in 2019 with the undeniably banging debut track “squirt (hard techno edit)” which received immediate support from such iconic DJs as Chippy Nonstop, softcoresoft, Ariel Zetina, and Miss Twink USA. Since then, they have released 2 albums titled “150 genders per minute” and “rave angels” on WET TRAX, a hard house vinyl EP “I Want You” with Melleefresh on Play Records, and a collaborative LP with Chippy Nonstop is expected in Spring 2021."
