"The mix-not-mix was recorded shortly after Alexis asked if I’d record some of my influences. I realized that I probably don’t have influences, but that there are lots of records I’ve been growing up with before I left Belgrade at the beginning of the 90s. I pulled some of the records and recorded some songs, realized afterwards that the records end in 1991 when I left. It’s more an old fashioned idea of a tape for someone dear than a mix"

For the podcast, DJ Gregoryan precisely pieced together a wide selection of mainly downtempo electronics touching on medieval stompers, Christian trip hop and progressive House.

"sometimes music can't be reduced to words. at the time, we were dancing between voids of uncertainty. omicron placed alot of doubts around inviting friends from overseas. right now it is amazing to think all these gifts are slowly becoming taken for granted once more. but then, the implications of such risks were something at the forefront of everyone's mind. this party was the release. the first in a small series of events. the mix here captures a two hour segment of music from an extended set by DJ Sundae - a sincere and sensitive dj with totally unique selections. on the night he soundtracked the front room, while Dali and schwet led the trip out back. it was amazing to connect with so many people and explore the possibilities of dancing together after those long nights alone. thank you to everyone who came, played, and helped. I hope you enjoy this memory".

Sacha is one of those special DJs that really needs no introduction. If you’ve done your work and scrambled through enough podcasts/radio show/gig mixes on Soundcloud, you know who he is. 

The way he manages to find the links between completely disparate styles of music and weave them together to create life changing moments and rich narratives is what really solidified him on the scene, funny how 20 years of experience can have an effect, huh?

When he’s not DJing all over the world, Sacha runs the esteemed Macadam Mambo record Label, showcasing talents from all over the spectrum… much like his own tastemaking to be frank.

Clyde Arcalis and Low Bat are together with Aki Gratte Ciel running the radio show named Yellow Light of Death on the Tbilissi based Mutant Radio. Clyde used to be the owner of a records store in Bordeaux named Oto Disques, while Low Bat, former booker of arkaoda Berlin, can be sometimes seen in tiny shorts and performing as front man of Jean-Luc.
