Prerequisite is the first collaboration between Network Glass and
Jason Crumer.

Developed from an adaptation of John Cage’s “Fontana Mix,” came a
long brewing but unlikely marriage of contrasting attitudes and
approaches to sound work. Through the vocabulary of modern noise into
the ether of the distorted and fucked, hours of source material were
shaped into a concentrated six piece album. Years of friendship,
foehood, shit talk and gushing led to this auditory thesis on the
state and history of noise.

On “Prerequisite" the olde folk theory "Incapacitants are just
distorted fontana mix" gets tested and proven very right and very
wrong. Don't worry, noise can take it. A modern look at
America's great noise Prerequisite.

Aleksandr Rain began play techno as dj at late &#39;90s.
In 2000 together with Krankiss he launched promo-group Art of Music which first in Saint-Petersburg
(Russia) started organize regular hard techno parties.
From 2006 Aleksandr played as hardware live-project Mental Distortion.
In 2009 hi joined as electronic part to ethno-electronic project Kamennoe More.
In 2012 Rain leave Russia and went to Asia where he residence at present days (currently in Vietnam).
Artist prefer more hardest substyles of techno with offbeat rhythms and IDM elements.

Following the events of "Annihilation", xato presents the second part of his personal odyssey, "Irrational Fear".

"Irrational Fear" explores the dark self with intense drone recordings being the main sound focus of the project, surrounded by field-recording manipulations and deeply evolving textures.

As the project's tracks aged between 2020 and 2022, it never felt like the right time to release the project. However things changed when the reasons behind the tracks were revamped in the more recent years.
