La Valse d'Amélie - Ahmed Emad - Piano Solo

Il lago dei cigni è uno dei più famosi e acclamati balletti del XIX secolo, musicato da Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij (op. 20). La prima rappresentazione ebbe luogo al Teatro Bolshoi di Mosca il 20 febbraio 1877 (calendario giuliano), con la coreografia di Julius Wenzel Reisinger.
Il libretto di Vladimir Petrovic Begičev, direttore dei teatri imperiali di Mosca insieme al ballerino Vasil Fedorovič Geltzer, è basato su un'antica fiaba tedesca, Der geraubte Schleier (Il velo rubato), seguendo il racconto di Jophann Karl August Musäus.
Primo dei tre balletti di Čajkovskij, fu composto tra il 1875 e il 1876. Viene rappresentato in quattro atti e quattro scene (soprattutto fuori dalla Russia e nell'Europa Orientale) o in tre atti e quattro scene (in Russia e Europa occidentale). Swan Lake is one of the most famous and acclaimed ballets of the nineteenth century , with music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky ( Op. 20). The first performance took place at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow February 20, 1877 ( Julian calendar ) , with choreography by Julius Reisinger Wenzel .
The libretto by Vladimir Petrovic Begicev , director of the imperial theaters in Moscow together with the dancer Vasil Fedorovich Geltzer , is based on an old German fairy tale , geraubte Der Schleier ( The Stolen Veil ) , following the story of Karl August Jophann Musäus .
The first of the three ballets by Tchaikovsky , was composed between 1875 and 1876. It is represented in four acts and four scenes (especially outside Russia and Eastern Europe ) or in three acts and four scenes ( in Russia and Western Europe) . Although there are many different versions of the ballet , most dance companies setting up bases , both in terms of choreographic and musical , on the revival by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov for the Imperial Ballet , first presented January 15, 1895 ( as given above) at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg , Russia.

Johannes Brahms ( 7 May 1833 – 3 April 1897) was a German composer and pianist. Born in Hamburg into a Lutheran family, Brahms spent much of his professional life in Vienna, Austria. In his lifetime, Brahms's popularity and influence were considerable. He is sometimes grouped with Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven as one of the "Three Bs", a comment originally made by the nineteenth-century conductor Hans von Bülow.

SAINT-SAËNS: Dance Macabre (Waltz)

Beethoven's fifth symphony is regarded as one of the most renowned symphonies in the entirety of classical music. Its consistently recurring and exceedingly iconic introductory tune, allows it to link the symphony's four movements together into the innovative, complex and emotionally arousing piece that it is universally acclaimed for. It is the perfect classical track to indulge into at any deserving moment.

I was just practicing tonight and felt like recording one of the pieces.  Beethoven's Sonata No. 14 in C# minor Op. 27 No. 2, or otherwise known as 'Quasi una fantasia' or the 'Moonlight Sonata'.  I recorded this on a Steinway D and mastered it in my mastering studio www.alpinemastering.com

Swan Lake is a ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. Despite its initial failure, it is now one of the most popular of all ballets.
The scenario, in two acts, was fashioned from Russian and German folk tales[a] and tells the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer's curse. The choreographer of the original production was Julius Reisinger (Václav Reisinger). The ballet was premiered by the Bolshoi Ballet on 4 March 1877 at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Although it is presented in many different versions, most ballet companies base their stagings both choreographically and musically on the 1895 revival of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, first staged for the Imperial Ballet on 15 January 1895, at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. For this revival, Tchaikovsky's score was revised by the St. Petersburg Imperial Theatre's chief conductor and composer Riccardo Drigo
