Georgia News Network reporter John Clark interviewed Sarah Clay Lindvall, Director of Arts Education & Community Outreach at ArtsBridge; David Hopkins, Director of the Milton Theatre Company at Milton High School and Dr. Liss Maynard, Principal at Clarkdale Elementary School recently about the importance of arts education in the lives of Georgia students, both personally and academically. The robust discussion underscored the value of the arts in helping a student have a better understanding of subjects like math, language and science; build self confidence and self esteem; and learn about teamwork and collaboration.
