Humanitarian Organization of the Year Los Angeles Music Awards and Las Vegas Music Awards. Sorella was founded to produce, publish, promote and connect music, film, television and literary creators. Sorella supports creators who raise awareness for cancers causes and cures. 

About Karen: I've been a scientist and medical educator for most of my life. I’ve founded medical schools that provide graduates with life saving careers. I’ve invented methods that help save lives and treat cancer. I’m proud of those accomplishments. I am an award winning songwriter and pitch songs to country and pop artists. I am not a singer, but can carry a tune just enough to get it across to the vocalists. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the insanely talented Holley McCreary for over two decades. I created a small record label/production studio/talent management company about ten years ago, called Sorella Entertainment, to help promote artists that have been diagnosed with cancer, like Holley, that may not otherwise have support to get their music heard or their stories told. The beautifully talented cancer survivor, Calysta Bevier, discovered by Ellen Tube, catapulted to the top 15 of America’s Got Talent via Simon’s first ever Golden Buzzer, is among the artists I’ve worked with. I was her manager for about a year until she moved on to a different company. I’ve also worked with and adore the incredibly talented, Sarah Simmons, who gained stardom from The Voice, who is herself a voice for raising awareness and sharing support and prayer and love to those affected with cancer. 

I’m open to new artists and writers that would like to share their songs and their stories. Music and writing are my greatest passions. I believe there’s nothing like the journey of making music and sharing stories and I am eager to continue to do so with the right talent.

PS Soar is my favorite. I wrote it for my son. It seems to resonate with a lot of people for a lot of reasons. I hope you enjoy listening to it and other songs on the Sorella playlist.
