4.  Responsibility & Focus: You are responsible for your results. Be focused and disciplined towards what you want. Don't get sidetracked by what other people are doing.

5.  3 Steps to inspire creativity and collaboration in teams

1. What is the picture of what you want to create? See it in your own mind first. Write out this written description. Internalise the picture.

2. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it - pay attention to your tone, your energy and vibration and the feelings you are bringing into the meeting, people will pick up on this. 

3. Ask questions that create dialogue about the individual and teams WANTS
 - Well what do you really want?
- What would the best possible outcome we could aim for as a team?
- Imagine if we could create the perfect outcome - what would that look like?
- How would people feel as a result of coming in contact with us? 
- Individually - what is your personal goal as part of the team whole?
- Let’s only think of ways we can do something and not spend any time focusing our thinking on how we can’t
- What’s the bigger picture here?
- What is the purpose of this organisation?
- What is the purpose of my role?
- How can I take action from my role that serves the purpose of this organisation and the goals we seek to accomplish?

How your self-image impacts your results

Paradigms are a mental program that have almost exclusive control over your habitual behaviour and almost all of your behaviour is habitual. A paradigm that we leave in control is like an “operating system” on which our mental processes run.

Your paradigms create a prism through which you view and make sense of the world around you. When information is presented to your mind, your mind runs through all of the things it already knows about that piece of information. It figures out where it fits in with the bigger picture and decides if the information is good or bad, desirable or undesirable, possible or not. 

Paradigms in and of themselves are neutral. If your paradigms are positive, you will have a happy, growth-orientated life, a happy self-image, and the ability to adapt successfully to changes, upsets and unforeseen circumstances. Conversely, negative paradigms can keep you stuck in old ways of thinking that can be very limiting. They keep you as imprisoned as does a cell and a set of iron bars. Maybe even more so, since they imprison you in the place where all true freedom resides – the mind.

If you are not creating the exact results you really want, then you need a paradigm shift. When a team starts thinking into results a number of things occur: their communication improves, they work better together, they are happier, their performance improves and all of that flows to the bottom line of the business.
