In 2020 I recorded 22 live improvisation sessions for my radio show called "Little Pink Fluffy Clouds". I have now started to release the works. In this first album I have assembled a selection of the vocal only improvisations where my voice was looped, layered, sampled and run through some guitar pedals and effects.

Recorded originally as a live improvisation session at Karen's home in Paris, France. Later, she made some edits and added minimal overdubs to the two tracks. Karen plays electric guitar and runs both her guitar and voice through various pedals, effects and loopers.

I've Been Waiting For The Longest Time

This 45 minute long mix appears on side one of the cassette version of my latest release "Losing the Sea + Remixes". This mix includes all tracks on the original album (released originally through Mare Nostrum) plus a bonus track (Dark Salt) interspersed with sea recordings.

The debut album of duo GALÁN / VOGT (The Sweet Wait) was released in November 2021 on Editions Furioso. Panacea was one of the album tracks that Akira Rabelais contributed works to - in the form of a coda for the song.
This is the first of three beautiful remixes for Panacea that Akira rabelais has created.  It is from the forthcoming GALÁN / VOGT remix album, entitled "All The Time In The World" - due for release in 2023.

Karen Vogt is an Australian artist, vocalist and musician based in France. She uses her voice to create atmospheric, ambient and experimental compositions. She is mostly known for her distinctive vocals with dream-pop band Heligoland that she co-founded in 1999, produced by Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins). In recent years she has been making experimental/ambient music. She is also half of duo GALÁN / VOGT. She is currently based in Paris, France and has a fortnightly radio show on CAMP.FR called Lost, Found, and Lost Again.
