The track has already garnered support from the likes of Jackmaster, Skream, Annie Mac and many more and it's the perfect inaugural release of a new collaboration EP series "Doorly & Friends" being released by the mighty @toolroomrecords.

We've teamed up with our good friends at Toolroom Records, to bring you an exclusive first listen of Doorly's new collaboration with dance icon Todd Terry.

Taken from the first EP in a new series called Doorly & Friends, 'On A Mission (Doorly Re-Chunk)' offers pure, unadulterated house. Driving percussion, warped vocals, acidic undertones... everything you need to get the party started is there in abundance. The release is then completed by another collaboration, this time with DJ Pierre.

Doorly was over the moon at the chance to work with the likes of Terry: "They say you should never meet your Idols... Screw that!" he says. "If you’d have told me ten years ago that I would have some Todd Terry drums to collaborate with, I would have thought you were mental. If there’s one instrument or sound that's influenced me more than anything else, then it’s those raw, uncompromising drum sounds of his. You can’t beat those brave, distorted, chunky grooves. Todd Terry is easily one of my biggest musical influences and now a good mate."

Doorly & Friends 01 is set to drop via the Toolroom Beatport on October 27th.

Joshua Jesse did not have a normal childhood, because he did not have every-day parents. His father Alexander Hacke is guitarist/bass player and founding member of the legendary band Einstürzende Neubauten. In 2013 Joshua Jesse started his own party series „Worst Case Scenario“, which has been taking place at the Watergate ever since. Besides this he has producing tracks on Katermukke and Dantze.
