Like every end of the year we present our new installment of the Rebirth Essentials collection, including our best releases of the last 12 months plus some unreleased material.

Coming from Rotterdam, Arp Frique’s music is original and made with live instruments. “Shangaan Time” is exotic with a touch of psychedelic weirdness. Raffaele ‘Whodamanny’ Arcella slows it building a cosmic disco groove on a funky bass line.
Taken from his debut album, “City” by ILO is a journey through his musical soundscapes: warm sounds vibrating beats, deep synth tones and old-school house mash-ups.  
“A Mente Delira” is a collaborative project between the italian producer Ayala and post punk Brazilian Vocalist Abrão, perfectly remixed by Musumeci. An hypnotic and psychedelic song that was big last summer, anticipating their debut album in 2024.
The ukranian producer Komilev debuts on Rebirth with the amazing vocal cut “Real Life”, while Kadosh, one of the best names to come out of the Tel Aviv scene, unleashes the strong track  “Love Triangle”.
Corrado Bucci’s homage to the “Yushan Hu” Lake is a track where the peaceful  atmosphere collides with a punchy sound.

The collection include also unreleased material from Shield & Robytek, Yotam Avni & Tuccillo, Marc Gonen, Mata Jones & Mikey V and Morris T.

Stoked to have Marcustic deliver Boring Cast 013 to you.
We met Marcus at one of our sundays at Jaeger and instantly hit it off talking music and ideas.
Later on we had a couple nights together at the amazing venue at Skaugum.
It was long due for Marcus to record a mix for us, we joined up in the studio had a couple of beers and let Marcus take the wheel. 
Tasty house, new and old, techy and soulful from one of Oslo’s best DJ’s in this segment. 
Looking forward to throwing more parties and share music with this guy.

Lebanese-born and Canadian living in Montreal for the past 18 years, Karim has been DJing since 2009, exploring different genres and variations. Trance is mainly what peaked his interest and lured him into the world of nightlife and mixing. He then formed a duo with a friend where his music transitioned into the Progressive House and Techno scene, and performed at a few venues in Montreal such as Time, Koko Lounge and Karma.  Karim’s personal taste in music is mostly influenced by rock, funk, and disco, with a specific soft spot for artists from the 80’s such as Rick James, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Prince, George Clinton, Sade and many other legends within that era. He also has a fondness for old school hip hop (Nate Dogg, J Dilla, Slick Rick, ATCQ…) and Reggae/Dub. 
In 2021, Karim has been part of GotSoul Records (Jojo Flores), some of the venues where he held residencies included: Marcus Four Seasons - Nacarat Fairmont Hotel and other venues in Montreal. 

At the same time, he also formed a dj duo collective with Anthony Saade called Beiroots Groove Ensemble.

As of 2022, he has been working independently as Dusty FingerZ and as a DJ duo with Anthony (Beiroots Groove Ensemble) 

Catch them every friday @ Baby Farwest and holding a monthly residency at Sans Soleil along with different pop up events.
