Caroline Valença, the creator of the AMETHYSTA project, is a multi-artist from Brasília. Her art encompasses literary, audiovisual, and musical works. With the EP Dark Feminine, she became the first woman to release with the label Decreto Techno. She attended her first festival at the age of just 11, and since her first encounter with Psy Trance, her love for art has only grown. Diving mainly into genres like Electronica, Indie Dance, Techno, and Trance, she created the DJ Amethysta. The project is rooted in Techno, blending Techno Driving/PeakTime, Acid, Hard Techno, and Psy, and despite hailing from Brasília, she has taken her art to major electronic hubs like São Paulo. Her mixing fuses genres, showcasing the great dichotomy between Techno and Trance, visceral and spiritual, resulting in the significant yin yang formed in her work. The addition of Electronica tracks brings an experimental air to the project, where the art of creation is always valued over following patterns. Amethysta is a fusion of two worlds, always bringing a bit of the rave to club culture and vice versa. Her construction line values BPM changes, so don't be confined by limits here. From the Underground, booking events like TREMA TECHNO (BSB) and TWISTED (SP), to Indie Dance events as a special guest at MEMENTO (SP) and MIND CONNECTOR RECORDS (BSB), she creates such a vast universe, making herself unique and inviting you to experience the personal journey she brings to the scene.

Fluidity; of being in between various definitions at any one time, is becoming the signature of Prerna’s sound, and the title track, “90s Acid” testifies. Walking a fine line between acid and industrial sounds while integrating the characteristic vocalizations of the 90's Bollywood cabaret, this track asserts her style as minimalism with a sensitivity for constructing a soundscape that surrounds and still leaves room to breathe.
