In the meantime, here's another explosive show, one of my favourite ones yet for it's interesting conversations, it's spontaneity and positive feel, even though I did the show using cdj's for the first time, so it isn't my cleanest mix. Anyway, I was lucky enough to invite https://soundcloud.com/pantherpanther a very talented producer, deejay and visual artist hailing from Mexico and living in Bristol. I'm grateful he made the trip down to London to bless us with his vibes. 
Also on the show was a last minute addition, a really cool young dude by the name of https://soundcloud.com/djdwai , straight from NYC with roots from Colombia. He drops a fire mix as well!
Overall, defo some latino vibes on this episode, which makes for a refreshing focus.

Karim Thiam ist in Kaolack, dem ursprünglichen Zentrum für Kultur in Senegal, geboren. Dort begann er bereits im Alter von fünf Jahren Musik zu machen. Nach 12 Jahren Welttournee mit Andrée Hellers Afrika Afrika Show ist Karim Thiam zurück in Österreich um sich weiterhin mit seinem interkulturellen Projekt „Voice of Afrika“ zu engagieren.
Musikalisch spricht Karim in seinen Songtexten soziale und umweltpolitische Themen wie Kindererziehung und Nachhaltigkeit an und beschäftigt sich intensiv mit der heutigen Energiefrage.
Sein Ziel ist es die ökonomische und humane Situation der afrikanischen Bevölkerung zu präsentieren.
Mit seinen verschiedenen Musikstilen wie:
Mbalax, Ethno, African Pop, Folk, World & African Groove
bringt Karim Thiam die Menschen zum Tanzen, Lachen und zu neuer Lebensfreude.

Facts:
1989-1999 Schulausbildung in Kaolack und Dakar – Senegal
1996-2003 Ausbildung als Musiker, Tänzer und Choreograph im Ballet National2 Dakar    Fambondy.
2000-2002 Ausbildung zum Musikpädagogen am Musikkonservatorium Dakar – Senegal
2003-2005 Anstellung im Theatre Ballet National Senegal Sorano.
2005-2006 Engagement im Zirkus Mama Afrika Deutschland , als Musiker, Tänzer und Choreograph der Tanzgruppe Senegal.
2006-2013. Engagement in der Zirkus Show – “AFRIKA AFRIKA” von Andre Heller als Musiker, Choreograph & Leitung senegalesischer Tanz.
