Karim has faced criticism for his mushy, fragile sound, and has even been referred to as the “male version of girl in red”—a comparison which he perceives as a compliment. In response to these ostensible claims, Karim released a third song titled “SOFT BOY”, an off-brand yet honest diss track used to ironically satirize the abundant supply of “hard” tracks and artists flooding popular rap-culture.

Karim is a 1997 sad boi from a small town you have likely never heard of, creating music using a vintage 2011 MacBook Pro and a cheap USB mic. 

His debut single Sweet Life of Zack, a song that celebrates a normal life through the eyes of a child star, accumulated 30,000 streams during its first month—a large feat for the new kid. 

Karim capitalized on this minuscule amount of recognition with a 2nd release titled bad bitch from high school, a petty anti-love song about a boy whose desire to find The One stemmed from an early exposure to Sad Boi Hours and a complete misreading of the film “500 Days of Summer”

Now, an ongoing conspiracy against Karim’s happiness has led to the delivery of a coded message for his female counterpart in the form of a 4th single titled 007. However, it is still unclear whether or not the romantic history Karim shares with this former MI6 agent is in fact real, or if her existence is simply a product of his imagination—used only to mask a divergent coded message through what is yet another makeshift audio file. 

Due to his over-emotional lyrics and cliché demeanor, it is assumed that Karim truly believes he exists in the films and TV shows he draws inspiration from.
