Album Ella the Cat by Swedish jazz group Steve. The group is lead by horn player Anders Ellman. Karina Kampe - vocals, Petter Carlson - Piano and Alto horn, Ulf Hammarstrand - bass, Mats Jadin - Drums.

Inspiration for the band comes from the 50’s and 60’s golden age of jazz.
The creative freedom of all the group players is a very important element
in the music. Be bop standards in new arrangements are mixed with
original new tunes from the band’s members. The band has been known
to deliver not only fine music but also a very captivating stage performance.
Some influential role models are Miles Davies, Lambert, Hendrix
& Ross, Ella Fitzgerald, Freddie Hubbard and Art Farmer.

Ella the cat can be found in the home of Karina and is a very pretty and sweet city cat. Lead song as well as title are her tribute.

A holiday gift from Swedish performers Karina Kampe and Patric Skog. A jazzy, comforting and relaxing version of Christmas Time Is Here", a popular Christmas standard written by Vince Guaraldi and Lee Mendelson for the 1965 television special "A Charlie Brown Christmas", one of the first animated Christmas specials produced for network television in the United States.
Here accompanied on bass by Lars Ekman. 
Karina and Patric is a vocal/guitar duo performing crossover music in the genres of jazz and pop.
