With a multicultural background and a passion for vinyl collecting, the Norwegian DJ and producer, Karina is a globetrotting electronic music artist whose nomadic lifestyle has profoundly influenced her sound. A deep appreciation for Detroit and Chicago house music, fused with a Berlin influenced minimalist approach to production, has earned her a dedicated following, and her vinyl selection is seductive, laid-back, and hypnotic while maintaining a driving, motivating rhythm.
For over two decades, Karina's professional music career has flourished, earning her recognition and appreciation within the global dance music industry. An avid collector and player of all things vinyl, she is one of the residents and creators of Ibizas successful weekly open-air party The Zoo Project. Berlin, her second home, exposed her to its raw creativity helping her develop her production skills whilst playing frequently at venues such as Kater Holzig, Sisyphos or Kitkat.  Apart from Europe, her passion for music has taken her on countless journeys around the world, where she has performed her unique fusion of house and techno music at renowned venues and festivals, spanning genres from disco to techno - all on vinyl!
Back in 2010, during her first visit to New York, Karina collaborated with Brooklyn's finest Blk Market, which resulted in a series of performances at various warehouses across the city over the early 2000s. She shared the decks with renowned artists like Robag Wruhme, Seth Troxler, and Daniel Bell, among others,
and was the first DJ to ever play at legendary Panther Room in New York. Karina has ever since frequently toured North America performing in top notch spots such as Housepitality in San Francisco, Creme de la Creme in Dallas, Smart Bar Chicago or Eaton Hotel in Washington DC. In The Big Apple she's known for her house and techno selection at several venues such as Brooklyn Mirage or Elsewhere to playing disco at smaller Manhattan hangouts like Nublu Classic. The C&K project launched together with NYC native Connie Yin at the end of 2018, had the two artists joining forces to play the final month of its existence at the legendary Panther Room in Williamsburg. Confident in their choices, C&K blend a variety of sounds, experimenting with 4/4 beats and unquantified live minimal arrangements.
Karina's production skills are respected, as evidenced by her releases on labels such as 'God Particle', 'Cymawax,' and 'Absence Seizure', and an upcoming vinyl release with Connie Yin as C&K on London's Decay Records. Her musical expertise and contributions to the industry have also earned her the role of Head of Industry Relations at Dance TV, cementing her position as a sought-after artist and respected leader in the world of electronic music.
Overall, Karina's music is an electrifying mix of global influences and production techniques, making her a dynamic force in the electronic music scene.

Recorded live on March 1st, 2025, this mix marks the very first Off Duty event at Foajeen in Kristiansand—a new series dedicated to showcasing deep, soulful, and groove-driven sounds in intimate settings.

For this opening night, we welcomed the transatlantic duo C&K (Connie & Karina). Known for their genre-blending selections and dynamic chemistry, the pair delivered an unforgettable b2b set, weaving seamlessly between vinyl and digital formats. Expect a journey through deep house, groovy rhythms, and rich textures—touching on everything from Detroit-inspired warmth to dubby Romanian minimal and jazzy, emotive layers.

C&K is the collaboration between Connie Yin, a New York-based DJ and ReSolute resident, and Karina Chaczbabian, a Norwegian producer and vinyl DJ, influenced by time spent between Norway, Berlin, and Ibiza. Together, they fuse deep musical sensitivity with an effortless ability to read the crowd and feel the room’s energy.

Robin Crafoord aka Robin C er en svensk DJ, produsent og design-konsulent bosatt i Oslo, kjent for sitt arbeid innen house, techno, elektro og disco. Han er den ene halvdelen av techno duoen Trulz & Robin, som har vært en sentral del av den norske elektroniske musikkscenen i over to tiår.
Robin spiller både vinyl og digitalt, og er kjent for sine dynamiske DJ-opptredener der han kombinerer dype, hypnotiske grooves med energiske rytmer. I tillegg til tradisjonelle DJ-sett, utforsker han også live-formatet med analoge maskiner og organisk improvisasjon.
Sammen med Trulz Kvam har Robin gitt ut musikk på labels som Full Pupp, Cymawax og Snick Snack Music, og duoen er kjent for sin signatur stil – ofte omtalt som «sensuell robofunk» – som kombinerer melodiske elementer med drivende bass linjer og leken eksperimentering.
Robin C driver de anerkjente konseptene SYNC og Elektro Romantik, som begge har vært viktige plattformer for elektronisk musikk i Oslo. SYNC fokuserer på live, rytmisk elektronisk musikk, mens Elektro Romantik har en mer lekende og eksperimentell tilnærming til elektro og techno.

Jarle Bråthen moves effortlessly through the realms of Nordic Disco and House, blending vintage warmth with futuristic grooves. Based in Berlin, the Norwegian DJ, producer, and curator has built a solid reputation behind the decks at iconic venues like Crack Bellmer and Salon Zur Wilden Renate, as well as through his now defunct monthly residency “FjernstYrt” at Kreuzberg’s hidden gem Bohnengold.

When not performing, Jarle spends his time crafting infectious, analog-infused sounds in the studio. His music spans from solo releases on Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp to collaborations as one half of Ytre Rymden Dansskola, alongside appearances on respected labels such as Correspondant, Luv Shack, Midnight Riot, and Walking Disco.

Drawing inspiration from Italo disco, 70s funk, and 80s synth nostalgia, Jarle reimagines these eras through a distinctly Scandinavian lens — delivering shimmering, groove-driven journeys made for late-night floors and cosmic dance moments alike.

With one foot in New York fuelling her creativity and influencing her in the way only New York can, and the other firmly in Berlin, her second home, exposing her to some of the best clubs in the world - Karina is one to watch our for. These two huge influences along with her international upbringing in Norway, Egypt and Poland and her creative multilingual mindset all shine brightly through her music. 
10 years living and working on the famous mediterranean island of Ibiza has seen her involved with some of the biggest promoters in the music industry such as Cocoon Ibiza and Monza. An avid collector and player of all things vinyl, she is also one of the residents and creators of Ibizas most successful weekly open-air party The Zoo Project. Berlin, her second home, exposed her to its raw creativity helping her develop her production skills whilst playing at venues such as Kater Holzig, Kater Blau or Crack Belmer.
Appreciating the fundamentals of raw Chicago and Detroit house music, her trademark style fuses elements of the two smoothly together with the minimalistic, forward thinking deep house that has become synonymous with her sound. Never afraid to stray from her norm and always keen to experiment with something outside of the traditional house/techno paradigm, her vinyl selection is seductive, laid-back and hypnotic while all the time retaining a driving, motivating rhythm.  
Karina although best known for her hypnotic performances at intimate venues, has no problem turning it up a notch with electrifying sets at events such as Kazantip Republic Festival (Ukraine) on the main stage in front of thousands of people. Her ability to mix any vinyl from disco to techno has had her smashing dance floors in many exotic destinations from Cape Town (That's What She Said) to Tijuana (Deck 22). Her prestigious residency at Analog Room in Dubai, her K1 release on Chicago based label ‘God Particle’ and release on “Cymawax’ as well as forthcoming music on the NYC imprint 'Absence Seizure', display both her technical production skills and ability to engage with a live audience.
