Japanese artist Kai (aka Kaitaro Nakajima) was born in 1977 and is currently based in Tokyo. He started djing with the age of 17.He took his first step by spinning Hip Hop records, but later got into the world of minimal techno and house music at around 2003. Since 2004 he is actively producing his own minimal tracks, around 2005~2006. His first release was from sud electronic(portable, label) It made a big opportunity for him, then He made a release from alphahouse(butane,s label) of America, and the german labels level rec and enliven music etc..

and 2007.He has changed the base of operations to Berlin.and He has performed live to gain experience from after 2007. 2010and2011 He has released two compilations from　Japanese artist shingo suwa,s labels Merkur Schallplatten. and released from little helpers of butane and some one else,label. 2012 now also he live in Berlin and he mainly in the activities live gigs and track production.

Drawn together by a mutual passion for quality underground music, Dutch based podcast Play by Ear [PBE] and Intrinsic Audio Sessions [IAS] from South Africa have joined forces for a special collaborative series. By combining our respective backgrounds and listenership, the series aims to fuse our tastes and interests through showcasing a dynamic set of mixes that caters for a diverse audience of underground music lovers.For the 4th mix in our series we are excited to feature JP Elorriaga,
DJ/Producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Focusing on deep and groovy rhythms, JP has recently had several well received releases on labels such Innocent Music Deep,Serkal and Tip Tap records.Considering the quality of his production this is definitely one not to be missed.

The mix we present to you for the 29th edition of our Trommel Podcast series is a mix that represents the sounds of GoDEEP, a project put together by Dan Ghenacia. Although we are told this is perfect for a Sunday afternoon, we feel that this collection of tracks which have been blended together seamlessly by one of the most renowned selectors of our generation is suited to many other times during the week.

Never satisfied with following the status quo, Ukrainian imprint Modeight is back with their 7th release, full of inspiring and experimental sounds.This installment falls to Romanian artists Paul K &  Incolor, who combine sonic forces on the stunning ‘Policolor’ Ep. Each producer serve up a signature cuts of their own design, with Incolor opening proceedings with 'Dacia1300 Goes In Space’.. a low slung, slow burning groove that glides with effortless grace. It's meandering atmospheric tones illiciting an positively out of body feeling. Next up Paul K delivers a rhythmically fluid roller in ‘Shadowing’ ..a cut thats peppered with warped glitches and bleepy artefacts. Its textured, organic feel captures you instantly, folding you into its insatiable groove. The real cherry however appears on the b-side, as both talents meld their respective sounds to form the darkly skewed long-player ‘Kalor’. A sub fuelled bass line drives a heavy set minimalist beat. Gritty electronics fizz and pop creating a wickedly dissonant atmosphere, as rasped vocals interject throughout. This next release from Modeight will certainly prick ears on global dance floors, proving once again that the label is pushing the boundaries of minimal techno into unknown territory.

This weekend Dubtil will lead a line up with our dear Suciu and G76 at the club, this set in intended to get you warmed up to the occasion and to announce Dubtil will be one of the regular artists you will see playing at the club more often these days.  

For this specific mix I have decided to use XLR8R''s podcast words as I lacked my own when writing about one of Romania's most understated artists.

Here it is:

"Robert Istoc leads a quiet existence. Having moved from Bacău to Bucharest, the majority of his time—when not DJing—is split between making music in his home studio or walking his beloved dog in one of the city's numerous parks. "I like to spend time with my thoughts," he explains, quietly. "I enjoy being alone."

As an artist, he is similarly discreet. Barring a brief profile on the Sunrise Booking Agency website, there are absolutely no details to be found on him. There has not been one interview and there is only one recorded mix available to stream, published in March 2014 by nightclubber. Despite a production and DJ career that spans almost eight years, he doesn’t yet have a Resident Advisor page; if you wish to find out his touring dates and see him play then you must rely on either Facebook or fortune. Indeed, the few times I’ve seen him—including May’s Sunwaves Festival and June’s Arpiar event in Barcelona—have been down to the latter; and on each occasion he has been the highlight on a lineup that included the likes of Raresh, Rhadoo, Cezar and Petre Inspirescu.

That being said, those who have grown to appreciate the rolling grooves coming out of Romania over recent years will likely have heard Dubtil’s name—or almost certainly heard his music played out. His blissful “Isitor” track was a standout on Raresh’s Fabric78 release, and many of Romania’s more lauded names are known to use unreleased Dubtil productions in their sets. But for those true followers of this vibrant scene—those who take time to explore beyond the work of these main figures—Dubtil’s allure is growing to be something of a main attraction. His Sunwaves set was as well attended as any; and his productions—very few of which ever see release—expose an artist with considerable studio skill."
