I'd like to introduce myself, Cats Meyer the band manager. (Find me on Facebook) Our music is in a genre of it's own, uniquely uplifting, with peaks and low's, where the metal flute dominates. Our CD's cannot portray the enormous the amount of stamina and high speed synchronicity. Please consider us for a suitable date & audition, then we can facilitate you on our calendar from the 30th of January to the 20th of April... Cost to the band is negotiable.. We are prepared for two sets.. Afternoon chill set consists of Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Metal Flute, Congo's, Djembies & Double Bass. Instrumental Reggae Set.. The night time set is Acoustic Guitar, Metal Flute & a selection of drums.. High energy, high powered Drum & Dance.. Unfortunately all our recordings date back to the year 2008, since the year 2008/9 BTR have replaced all their equipment and added Guitar and Metal flute into their unique African genre, taking their music to a new level. As BTR have no current recordings, in the last four years BTR has progressed from local to international level by far.. According to the audience response after every show, all I can say, their response is completely astounding. This is what has given me the passion to present this amazingly unique African Drum Orchestra. Since they won the Radio Algoa Music Awards sponsored by Vodacom in 2009. We have not visited Cape Town, we believe the market is READY FOR A BIG BANG!
