"Copy And Paste" is how some unfortunate people may live their repetitive and monotonous lives but not the music lovers and life lovers for whom everything is a source of wonder and amazement. This song is energetic and powerful like an act of rebellion and refusal to be buried under a dull daily life. "The New York Brass" with whom I recorded did an excellent job on this song, spicing it up and giving it the positive and energetic vibe I was after. I had fun with the guitar parts too !

Karl Baudoin has been playing music from an early age. Self taught for some 20 years and "properly" musically educated for another 20 years or so. He studied with Berklee College of Music and got a Master in Composition and Orchestration for Film and TV among other degrees (Arranging in Contemporary Styles, Songwriting for Film and TV, etc.) He studied "Classical" composition (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, etc.) with the French composition school "Polyphonies". He started at age 14 with Hard Rock and Heavy Metal in the Eighties, then Blues and Rock in the Nineties playing hundreds of gigs in pubs, bars and festivals, World Music in the years 2000 when he wrote and staged an Ethno Rock Opera "Rêves et Voyages" then back to Blues around 2010 when he created "Les Nuits du Blues" an annual Blues Festival in New Caledonia from 2015 to 2020. From then on he turned to more melodic pop rock and wrote and staged "A Dream Within A Dream" a Pop Rock Opera with all shows sold out in 2021. The 2022 hit single "The Big Balloon to the Moon" has won 4 Best Music Video Awards. Two albums are expected: A 22 songs live one from the shows and a 12 songs studio album, all from "A Dream Within A Dream".
