Finding instant inspiration in the provided haiku, I put this together in response to Naviar's 508th assignment "naviarhaiku508 – Deep, dark Summer night":

Deep, dark Summer night
A sudden shaft of moonlight
Blesses the temple

Not sure how well these sounds connect to the poetry, but in any event, this is what came to mind. May I direct your attention to the somewhat shrill, inside/outside yet meditative-ish melody making an entry around half of the way in. As usual, I keep adding backdoor enhancements, so check back periodically for (likely very minute) changes. (Densified on 15 Oct 2023)

Deep Halo I Densified l Naviarhaiku

The inspiration for the track "Blackout" stems from the Korean rhythm "Hwimori" (휘모리), which becomes recognizable towards the end.

Originally, I had no intention of producing another "four to the floor" track, but the consistent beat of the Buk, a Korean drum, in the Hwimori rhythm led almost automatically to it.

Although the music cannot be strictly considered Korean, I have incorporated some Korean samples.

The concept of rhythm can also be culturally nuanced.

The repetition of regular temporal units, for example, can be derived from the heartbeat or, quite differently, from the human breath.

In this piece, you simply hear the continuous pulsating beat, essentially fixed without any accelerations or decelerations within the cycles.

Blackout

First track using the mixer from Tascam 424 only for @Full-orchestra sample challenge using Matriarch, Digitakt and Elka ER33;
A bit rough and blurry tune using the werp sample machine from the Elektron Digitakt on the space probe original sample. It gives interesting glitchy textures in my opinion.
