The subjection of computational processes to sustained heat and to the various exchanges between sun, power, earth and processing. A simple microcontroller undergoes high heat application at intervals and the resulting changed in memory (whilst a cryptographic function is computed) are recorded as audio output.

Some pipe organs offer an interface, which allows all its parameters to be controlled by computer, while the sound is still created in the pipes of the organ. In this way, a meshing of instrumental and electronic music can be achieved.
The international concert series AGGREGATE exposes this potential for artistic innovation in organ music.
