ana wares’ debut release “Saturn Return EP” is a mix of influences from a multitude of genres spanning classical to blues and dance, and can best be described as ‘Techno Electronica’.

Eye to Eye to Eye was partly inspired by a conversation with a friend. It means to stand confidently and express oneself without pandering; to look inwards at your higher truth without shame. Beginning with a simple bell & chime riff the spectrum of sound is filled with a rainbow of aftertones, creating a sound bath of harmonics. That hook line features throughout the piece, dainty and elegant atop a deep droning bass and oscillating piano chord pattern.

Bon Iver (pronounced Bone-ee-VARE) has always resonated with me as a musician for his song writing and lyrical genius that hits the spot every time. From the first time I heard Bon Iver he became my go to when in need for music to contemplate, relax and chill out to. It is perfect morning music in my opinion, in fact the ultimate morning music to ease oneself into the day.
I compare our music to that of Bon Iver with its similarities and obscure, non formal chords and key progressions.
I hope you enjoy this edit as much as I have enjoyed producing it and that will take you to another place as it has for me.

Es gibt Klänge, die sich wie ein Heilbalsam um unsere Denkstränge legen, die uns die Knoten aus dem Kopf kämmen und mit denen sich spontan ein inneres Gleichgewicht einstellt. Die Handpan ist ein wunderbares Beispiel dafür. Im Track Asura haben Elias Dore & Acado das Instrument mit dem gemächlichen Stampfen und den verträumten Eskalationen elektronischer l(langerzeugung kombiniert. Der Remix von Mollono.Bass geht etwas mehr nach vorne, lässt dabei aber ganz viel Raum für die meditativen Frequenzen der Handpan. Und KlangDruide interpretiert den Titel in Form einer entrückten Zeitlupenaufnahme. Der zweite Track Wadeeh basiert auf einer tiefgründigen Melodiestruktur und kommt mit ordentlich Schwung und dem einen oder anderen Spitzenzeit-Merkmal daher. Im Remix von lnnacircle verwandelt sich dieser Titel in eine psychedelische Abfahrt mit tribalistischen Trommeleinlagen.

There are sounds that act on the mind like a healing balm, that untie the tangle of our everyday
worries, that re-establish our inner balance in an instant. The handpan is wonderful example. In their track Asura, Elias Dore & Acado combine the instrument with the slow stomp and dreamy escalations of a synthesized electronic groove. The remix of Mollono.Bass has a bit more forward thrust, while keeping a lot of audio space for the meditative frequencies of the handpan to unfold. And l(langDruide interprets the title in the form of an enraptured slow motion recording. The second track Wadeeh is built upon a deep melodic structure and has a lot of momentum and many characteristics of a peak time tune. The remix of lnnacircle turns this into a psychedelic departure

Hier findet er durch die Remixes von Mollono.Bass Ausdruck, einmal für die große Party-Anlage und einmal auf den Punkt gebracht fürs Radio.

A voice that touches our soul like the beam of a lighthouse in the cold and misty darkness of the night. Soft grooves, sometimes broken and sometimes straight. The ever so cosy melancholy of Whale vs. Elephant colours the array of our emotions in shades of Ambient, Electronica and slo-mo danceability. With this kind of sound, the German band sets the course for a new voyage, namely the new sub-label 3000Grad Spezial. The dancefloor factor is an important aspect of this venture, of course. Here it finds expression through two remixes by Mollono.Bass - one made for the big sound systems, the other one concise and to-the-point for the radio stations.
