We did this mix I think in early 99 for Oxygen student radio in Oxford. Lots of fun, complete with some fairly random but nonetheless fine breaks and plenty of mixes thrown against the wall (although not as badly as during some of our spirited DJ debacles). I like the "Can't Take My Eyes of You" / "Apache" number we cut together on the Emu for the end - would have made a nice full length bootleg.  The mix intro became the intro to our track "Theme From 17" a little while later. I remember hearing the "returning to London" vox sample used afterwards as a sting on Xfm and I always wondered if they nicked it off us. Fair enough really - I nicked it from somewhere else after all.

One of my favorite tracks from Karnamrita's album.... 
Its very important to me to have the highest vibrational sounds in my music sets when I play at events ("Pingala" live at the space ark party http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150740737807995 )..... this is one of those tracks that i just had to add into the equation.. Here is the set that I made for my annual performance at Shambhala Music Festival. As always I have poured my heart and soul into making the best set I could, and this year, like every year, it was an amazing time. Thanks to the few thousand people who came to hear it live, and Rich E Rich / Fractal Forest for having me back to play, 8 years counting.


I’d like to also say thanks to all the artists / labels who sent me upfront music, stems, acapellas and anything else I could get out of them… haha. Without you guys I wouldn’t be able to make the arrangements that I do. Almost everything in this set is my own edit for arrangement or what I needed the music to do, but on the track list I have listed the original tracks instead of putting “edit” beside everything...


I sincerely hope you enjoy the music. I’ll be working hard over the next few months writing new records, and getting ready for next years tours…

Stickybuds - Fractal Forest Mix - Shambhala 2012

OK this one is a fun one... Just cut the samples out and arranged them into something musicalish, mainly doors, doors, more doors and the baby... No processing whatsoever, no EQ, FX, no nothing like that... Just straight up vanilla samples... The baby likes it, she was singing along... Lol
