A couple of years after his first foray into the vinyl format, Barcelona based Rafael Espinosa aka Geistform delivers his second vinyl 12”/digital for HANDS: Four tracks, three new, one remix from the 2016 “Transmitter” album. Analogue, repetitive, saturated with hiss and feedback – and driven home by firm kicks, this bridges the gap between Geistform’s industrial home base and the techno community, which keeps devouring these darker, more radical sounds. Bound to cause a nuclear fission on the dance floor, this 4-track release complies with latest state of the art techno science!  
A limited Edition of 200 copies includes a hand-numbered art print on heavy carton and is exclusively available at HANDS.

Diasiva provide us with #007 in our podcast series, an all Diasiva playlist that includes tracks spanning their 7 year discography + a collection of unreleased material.

Produced in a symbiosis of perfectly unaligned and uncalibrated modular synthesis, “Thirst” is Diasiva pushing current DSP technology to its edges, their sound is informed by a weekly meeting of sonic experimentation and exploration in their Neukölln studio, drawing inspiration from the detritus of West Berlin. “Thirst” represents the ongoing evolution of Diasiva from sledge-hammer logic into expression in motion, welding IDM & deconstructed breaks to pure sonic abstraction, embracing visions of a brighter future yet leading curious eyes toward the ever present darkness, holding the hand of the likeminded, marching together toward the abyss.

Diasiva are Monolog and Swarm Intelligence, formed in 2011 for the first edition of Burn The Machine Festival in Subland, Berlin, playing numerous live sets around Berlin after this, including the following Burn the Machine. In 2016, they released their debut LP “Doublefade” on the seminal Ohm Resistance label, later that year, they released “Sabo” on Monolog & Subtrakt imprint, 2017 saw their Station 1805 EP released on Acroplane. The duo now returns for their debut EP on Instruments of Discipline.

The Transhumanism collective was born on the dance-floor at Dave Clarke's first Whip It party at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. This is the fourth vinyl release on Bass Agenda Recordings that features the four Dutch Electro artists w1b0, RXmode, Slaves of Sinus, and TFHats.

The releases to date have had ongoing support from many key DJs who support the authentic Electro scene - Dave Clarke, UMEK, Helena Hauff, DJ Stingray, Maceo Plex, and Alienata to name but a few. Juan Atkins and Helena Hauff were still dropping w1b0's track from the first release this Summer (2019) at various festivals. It's no surprise that the first in the series has just been repressed, and now, the third in the series keeps the pressure up with 4 brand new tracks. As always, the brief here was simple - "be yourself and do your best to kill it".

All four artists have risen to the occasion - maintaining the fundamentals of their individual sounds, evolving a little in some parts, and bringing a compilation with something for every discerning DJ with an ear for cutting edge Electro.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Berlin-based dj & producer Unhuman (Liber Null / BITE).

Unhuman is the Berlin-based electronic and experimental project of Manos Simotas. 
Started in 2012 in Athens with his first release "Emperor Black"on tape, Unhuman evolved through different genres ultimately finding his own unique voice in experimental and dark electronics. Keeping his root in post-punk, Unhuman released on labels such as Instruments Of Discipline, VelenoViola, BITE, AMOK Tapes and Strange Therapy. 
Unhuman is also the founder of Liber Null Berlin, which has played a critical role of unifying the freedom of arts in a conceptual event in the scene and also operates as a record label. 
Expanding beyond Berlin, Liber Null held events with performance arts and music all around the world including Athens, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul and beyond.

After two decades of supporting the electronic music scene in Barcelona, Digital Vault as a DJ, likes to explore various industrial rhythms and eclectic influences, all in line with his musical taste. Techno, Industrial noise and EBM are his favorite music styles, somewhere between gray and industrial sounds and broken voices. He has shared line-ups with artists like Unhuman, REKA, Headless Horseman, Codex Empire, Parallx, German Aair and NVA, and played in clubs like The Garage of the Bass Valley, LAUT, Macarena and M7 in Barcelona or Lanna Club in Asturias, Spain. He has currently started an event promotion project called Dominant, in Barcelona. The musical spectrum will range from techno, industrial, EBM and post punk to all kinds of dark sounds. Dominant invites Techno, Industrial and experimental artists to play as well as Dj’s from the local scene.
