"It happened 3 years ago on NYE when I had the chance for the first time to play in front of a lot of people, and my girlfriend asked me to not go instead come spend the NYE with her family. I said no and went there. While I was playing live and people loved my sound she sent a message saying "Me or Techno, you have to choose one". well I didn't reply until she called and opened the phone speaker to the DJ booth, she knew the answer without hesitation and she's an ex now ;-)" - Khatune

"I found myself in a unique and challenging situation, After I became the resident DJ at a beach club in a foreign country owned by a powerful company that imposed strict exclusivity rules. Yet, in the midst of the rhythmic waves, an opportunity to perform at a mega club presented itself, an offer too enticing to resist.

Undeterred by the contractual chains, I decided to take the risk. With determination and secrecy, I accepted the booking, blocking everyone associated with me on social media to keep my plan under wraps. On the night of the gig, I called in sick to my resident job, convinced that I had successfully outsmarted the system.

As I unleashed my music upon the massive crowd of 2000 people in the mega club, the energy was electric. Little did I know, my carefully crafted plan was about to face a sudden twist. Mid-set, I glanced to my side, only to find my manager standing there with a fake angry smile, a smile that said, "I wanna kill you, but I can't help but be impressed."

In that moment, I knew I had breached my contract and lost my job as a resident DJ. Yet, the pulsating rhythm of the crowd's cheers and the freedom I felt on that stage made it all worth it. Sometimes, the best risks lead to the greatest rewards.

Marius is a very talented DJ, producer and liveact from Berlin. Together with Sabura he created "Phoenix", a nice evolving melodic track with a lot of ear candy and an uplifting atmosphere. Swiss melodic master Khainz got his hands on the remix. He twisted the original into a dark pusher with bouncy percussive elements.
