Sol Selectas brings you another sunshine filled compilation of beautiful uplifting music to be with you during your summer celebrations. 


We present the 8th volume of our  legendary Summer Sol compilation series, with 31 original tracks from around the world, our biggest collection to date. 
From downtempo chill, to mid tempo groove, to up tempo tribal, to afro deep, this collection has something for everyone, capturing magical moments for any mood.  

Summer Sol VIII features artists from 20 different nationalities such as Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Israel, Turkey, Spain, Colombia, Ukraine, and Russia, to name a few.  24 of the artists are appearing on Sol Selectas for the first time, and alongside them are 10 returning Sol Selectas friends. 

The cover art by Helia Jamali portrays the moment that we catch the light, and the energetic rays of the sun activating our spirit through the divine connection.

 Music is pleased to present a new ten track album from DJ Enne, a 
prolific musician and mastermind of Italo-inspired electro-disco-rock 
band Mohear. His solo releases and remixes have made their way onto 
labels like Compost, Permanent Vacation, and Nang. He spent much of the 
'80s absorbed in the afro-funky-cosmic-disco sound -- the reoccurring 
hyphen-bridged music descriptors reflective of his genre-bending tastes 
and, also, his fourth album: Shades Of House. A collection of 
wide ranged house and (classic style) electro tracks with handmade, 
funky bass lines and soulful, cheerful hooks, Shades Of House was 
recorded in Enne's home-base of Munich with the sounds pretty much all 
played by the multi-instrumentalist himself. Opening with "Break Me", 
the album gets off to a romanticized and arpeggiated Italo disco-ish 
start, particularly potent in the delayed piano chords and step-it-up 
bass. Pulsing and tribal, "Congolia" features a foreboding bell and the 
complex rhythm of African hand drums sounding straight out of the Congo.
 "Pink Souls" marks a shift as the album's hauntingly cosmic number, 
full of drama and accented by spoken word. The pitch perfect, lush house
 of "Song For Kezia" eventually evolves into "Strings Of Life"-like 
piano ecstasy. A hefty slice of krautrock, "Allein" features German 
singer Jens Poenitsch with lyrics in his native tongue. These are just 
some of the highlights … with half the album already accounting for such
 an array of different styles, experiencing it in full will leave no 
doubt of Enne's knack for taking on any shade of house he sees fit.&nbsp;

PBP is thrilled to present a very special EP, this time by Polish producer Organica, Bestiary contains on each track a different monster or creature inspired 100% by the Slavic mythology.

Leszy lives in a secluded place, in the forest, but only when it is not cold. On October 17th she goes underground. Kikimora is a legendary creature, a female household spirit in Slavic mythology. Poludnica symbolizes the midday star, she would often stop people in the field to ask them difficult questions or engage them in conversation.

Today, PBP Records presents the 7th edition of EP with 3 great remixes by Magupi (Portugal), AmuAmu (Germany) and Fuungai (USA) each presenting their own story and vision.

Alt Orient is excited to announce Netam's first live album and the first recording of the Alt Orient Live Session series.  This album, recorded live in audio and video at the iconic Yedikule Fortress in the heart of Istanbul, under the direction of Motif and production of @dunyadansesler . Creating a special performance for live electronic music lovers. 

Huge Thanks to the record labels Kanto Records, Rituel Recordings & Noiseist Records for allowing us to publish this live set properly

Netam brings together electronic elements and Anatolian melodies in a fascinating way in his music.  In this live performance, he presents a unique show with his skills in electronic music as well as his use of synthesizer and trumpet.  It creates an immersive effect on the listener with its sound design enriched with psychedelic textures and naive transitions between songs.  Melodically rich and relaxing, this album can be a nice accompaniment through your day.

Recorded in September 2022 in the Yedikule Dungeons of the Fatih district, known for its rich history and lively atmosphere, Netam's work comes together with the historical texture of Istanbul and appears as an immersive live performance. This performance was recorded during a sunset on the Historical Peninsula, inside one of the towers in Yedikule Dungeons.

The live album/video will be available on YouTube 25th of July and  all audio platforms from August 23rd.
