ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MIXES IS HERE. I CANT LOSE YOU ft ILLENIUM DABIN CULTURE CODE NURKO IS a mix i put my absolute heart and soul into. Thee meaning of this mix is so incredibly deep and special to me. So much of it can be thought about being unable to lose someone else a partner, a lover, a friend and it is. But even deeper is not losing yourself. Its not here to spew some "it always gets better' rhetoric but rather "it could get better, and you OWE it to yourself to not let yourself go yet”. The mashup I made with When the Magic Dies & ICU at 47:22 captures the meaning of the whole mix. The female vocals that says "Don't you let me go because we've come this far" is begging you to not give up on yourself because of you've come so far. The male vocals "you've been hurting in a million ways no one else can see" acknowledge all the unspoken pain you've had to endure to still be here, be breathing, trying to get through another day of hell. His vocals offer a level of understanding for your suffering that maybe no one else ever has. If there is one message I have for the world, to YOU READING this right now (yeah Im speaking to YOU) IS TO JUST hold on A LITTLE Longer, to use mixes like these to remember you ARE SO WORTH THIS FIGHT and making it to tomorrow. I had this amazing opportunity for an “Open Aux” competition for the BTO festival in SF, meaning it’s a contest for who gets to be added to the lineup! 

Being able to play for a collective, whose goal is to highlight amazing growing artists, would be a dream come true and the perfect way to debut in SF ❤️ 

This is my 30 min mix for it (and for y’all) with high energy and feels from start to finish.  EVERY mashup you hear was made w/ my own hands and I’m reallllyyy proud of how this turned out given the short timeframe! 

To me, the best live sets are the ones that are diverse, have different levels of energy throughout and have ID's/edits you've never heard before.  That's what I tried to emulate here, so hope y'all enjoy! 🙏🏽 Best of luck to anyone else entering!

Probably the most different type of mix I've done to date. For this mix, I wanted to shed some "light" on a genre that I've been super into lately; Cinematic Bass. I've been wanting to make a set/mix that focuses on the story telling aspect while taking you on a journey from beginning to end. While listening to this, I hope that the narrator guides you through each scene as it did in my mind. The experience will hit different, I promise!
