But the echo falls apart again,
Lost in the hum of the power lines.

After feeling quite low for a few weeks, I decided to create this. A musical representation of cracking my skull open, spilling out the contents of my brain, and creating songs from it. Metaphorically of course... Therapy!

Recorded over 3 days in February 2013 in my girlfriend's front room.

Once upon a time, two sisters named Kelly and Kamille stumbled upon a secret musical garden that entwined classical grandeur and lush pop sensibilities. They brought back melodies inspired by soulful creators from Brahms to Bjork to The Beatles, and they called themselves KARMINA—"song" in Latin.

The resulting “cinematic pop” evokes the heart-pounding emotion of big-screen storytelling, the howling passion of Florence Welch, and the quiet heartbreak of Lana del Rey. Their new album, Queens of Heart, pays homage to powerful women who have elevated humanity and the humble warriors that follow in their footsteps.
