This song was written in honor of slain forest defender David Nathan "Gypsy" Chain. He was killed by a felled tree in suspicious circumstances during a protest in the California Redwood Forests against the Pacific Lumber Company. 
 It is performed by Jesse Manzanita by over-dubbing vocal and guitar tracks. Recorded at Sappho Studios in 1998. The song was featured in the soundtrack of the documentary entitled "The Battle".
