Zugeweht wie Sand & Erde sind wir geflogen über’s Heu. Gelandet in der Früh in den Dämpfen aus Holz. 
Es ist ruhig, es ist warm, dann wird es heiß. Erst tröpfelt es, dann fließt der Schweiß - die Schlacke sickert langsam aus unserem Leib.  
Gedrückt durch Sphären öffnen sich unsere Poren, von Klängen gereinigt und getragen, frischt der matte Blutkreislauf auf. 
Gehüllt in Schwalk und Dunst besteht die Furcht alles bleibe ein nur Traum. 
Verschwitzt und glücklich machen wir die Augen wieder auf.

✔️ What is your musical background?
For me the active electronic music game started at the beginning of 2021, one month after my first deep-felt rave experience. During a party we had in the community I lived in one of my roommates suggested I might try mixing and introduced me into playing a first track. Since then, the light got lit and the fascination for music made me go ahead. After moving to Berlin six months later and meeting my friend @zhart who also had started to play recently, the journey begun and over time I learned more about collecting and mixing sounds. Soon we got to know our love for downtempo and became part of the heart-filling BeYond collective that also influenced my taste in sound and parties. Since about one year I feel home in playing 95 BPM or slower and got to love the playful and wholesome moments  that slowraves can offer as much as the extra space that Downtempo gives to every sound.

✔️ What is a good afterhour for you?
„...after collectively spending a sweet time. especially then after several hours of dancing, fully entering into all layers of sound may feel extra natural. the time seems to get a different quality and creates a space full of easy and joy. i feel this is where a good afterhour can bring you."

✔️ Thoughts about the Set:
This mix originates from a closing set I played in Beate Uwe in Berlin - what I loved during this set was the fact that the people on the floor really seemed to let themselves go deep into the sound. It’s always beautiful when dancers hop onto the slow lane and appreciate the vibe of slow dark baselines and playful melodies. This gig also felt special because the first part was a b2b with iris anahata (released on magicians on duty) which both of us enjoyed a lot. Especially in wild times like the current ones feel to me I highly appreciate moments where some weight gets lifted from our shoulders and music takes us to the current moment.

Our chameleon #66 showcases the unique talents of ele, aal, and dalié. The set features live vocals, live guitar, two synthesizers, and spontaneous improvisational segments between tracks; a fusion of their own tracks and collaborative efforts. 

Fundamentally, this project is a celebration of friendship. Sonically, it is situated in the early days of downtempo afterhours, striving for a vibe that feels more like a warming blanket rather than a blast of energy—akin to being wide awake yet cozy. Goosebumps ripple in continuous waves across the entire set, creating a palpable atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.

We all have those days where we struggle with uncomfortable feelings. Fighting them just never works. So, the best thing is to actually welcome them and give them room to be. Like many people, I do this with the soothing help of music. But there is also a fine line between giving space and nourish these feelings just a bit too much, acutally making them last longer or grow stronger. So, my hope is that this set will just soothe you and take care not to cross that fine line. 💛

It was an honour for me to play on Saturday at the Spirit Space - and give all the mystical creatures a cozy soft shelter to ground, recharge, and connect with others at night. So beautiful to watch the space fill up during those two hours and become a wobbling interconnected so(ul)rganism with lots of contact dance. I truly felt naked while playing this set, because I poured my whole heart out there and showed so much of my inner being... Slightly scary, but always worth it. 
Hope you enjoy the 80 bpm smooth sailing.

I had the incredible honor to play at the Spirit Space at Mystic Creatures Festival. What a wonderful experience to play music in this safe and slow space. Thank you to @truenaturemusic who played a wonderful set before me, thanks to all my loved ones that made the long journey by train and bus from Zurich to the festival! Take a deep breath. Think about summer; the warmth of morning sun on your skin; carefree days and magical nights. Follow the last echoes of vibrations in your body and memories of exciting encounters and let those hours you may have spent dancing under stars and sun and colorful lights sink in. 
While summer’s green is being replaced by hues of red, orange, yellow and brown, a new, yet familiar, energy invites us to rest, calm down and turn inward. 
The changing of the seasons is so familiar and yet always astonishing - isn’t it wondrous to imagine the craving for a hot water bottle, while lying in bed sweating and without blankets during a hot summer night? And yet, the seasons will change and the new yet familiar is bound to amaze us again and again. 
Similarly, Landhouse’s path has crossed ours many times, from playing at our events many years ago to releasing wonderful music on our label and contributing the very first BeYond podcast. For our 30th edition, he created a live journey that feels like a homecoming and a cozy sweater while watching the autumn rain splash against your window. 
We want to invite you to grab a steaming beverage, to listen to it, outdoors or in the comfort of your home, alone or with dear friends, tend to what comes up from within and maybe try and see if you have access to a feeling of gratitude for the warmth and peace you may be able to find in your life.
