In 2006, KARO provided our first sample-based library for the KORG OASYS composed of sounds recorded on famous grand pianos.
For over five years, we have continued our work in this sector, provided high quality pianos for the KORG OASYS.
And just recently, we decided to supplement the KORG KRONOS and Nautilus factory piano presets by our brand-new KARO Stage Piano Library.
The grand piano sounds of the Stage Piano are tailored to fulfill the special needs of live keyboardists; they are asserting themselves in all band voicing scenarios. The Stage Piano is based on multisamples of well-known Berlin based piano manufacturer.

KARO presents the Electric Grand.
A world famous electric grand piano introduced in the 1970s was recorded at a sampling rate of 96kHz, each sample quantized with 24 bits.
The mastering was accomplished at a sampling rate of 48kHz with a resolution of 16 bits. The samples are not looped and thus provide an absolute quality.

The KORG KRONOS and Nautilus complements both programs and combinations with the simultaneous generation of drum grooves by the use of the “drum patterns” feature. With this second KARO Sophisticated Grooves library, KARO tried to capture the feeling of a live drummer.
Therefore, we asked our dear colleague Max Mury, a great drummer “out of Mannheim”, to play for us and allow us to record his playing style.
Furthermore, we recorded a new drum set in our friend, Tom Weitzel's, studio. The Sophisticated Grooves II presents you with 133 drum patterns.

KARO now supplements its meanwhile very successful libraries with the “EXs64 KARO Ethno World”. It was produced in a collaboration with 
Erkan Ucar (Ecomusik) and KARO. KARO's EXs64 rightfully carries the name “Ethno World”. It contains absolutely professional taped Samples and optimizes playable programs, which have never been seen in this amount!
EXs64 is the first World library for the KORG KRONOS and Nautilus and thus the most extensive Ethno package in the world for a workstation!
The most important Ethno instruments where collected around the globe and where arranged to one extremely versatile and varied library.
Now you are able to play new Ethno Drumtracks on the the highest soundlevel, more alive and more versified which is probably not possible with any other Sampling library.

KARO Vintage Synth Explorer I presents three fascinating, style-defining KORG synthesizers that made history: the PS-3200, Sigma and Lambda.
The library provides a huge number of exclusively sample-based instruments found nowhere else, including 216 MB of high-quality samples and 128 Programs especially designed for them. This new collection delivers the popular and timeless sounds of these classic analog synthesizers with all advantages and technical possibilities that today's KRONOS and Nautilus technology has to offer.

KARO's new EXs67 Upright Piano library extends the sonic palette of the KORG KRONOS and Nautilua with the classic, authentic sound of an upright piano. A traditional German piano was sampled with 6 velocity layers, for a total of 1.6GB of high-quality samples, and 37 Programs specifically designed for them - including six by Michael Geisel (Korg&More Germany). 
All sound demos are played by Benjamin Seipel. This new collection delivers the familiar sound of an upright piano with all of the advantages and technical possibilities that today's KRONOS and Nautilus technology has to offer.

In 2008, KARO surprised the OASYS fan club with three sound sets which are dedicated to the FM synthesis, MOD-7 in the KORG OASYS terminology. Two of them have now been rearranged and polished for the use with the KORG KRONOS and Nautilus, namely the KFM-1 and the KFM-2. The new KARO Frequency Modulation captures the classic FM sounds synthesizers. Above all, many programs and combinations use the foot controller. All sounds benefit from a tasteful use of the KORG KRONOS and Nautilus onboard DSP effects.

It was in 1981 a Japanese instrument builder introduced their first commercial polyphonic FM synthesizers, introducing multi-operator 
equation generators to contemporary music. Unfortunately, these machines were pure preset instruments, capable of playing only such voices which were supplied on little magnetic memory sticks. The amazing sound and the great musical action of them, however, made them highly esteemed by many megastars of modern music. Meanwhile they are legendary. In this KARO library, we introduce 128 newly designed programs which are based on the single and unique 
two times four operators based FM algorithm used in these instruments.
X-Modulation presents warm and realistic strings, choirs, brass and woodwind instruments, which are complemented with electronic and 
acoustic piano emulations, percussive sounds like bells and vibraphone and, last but not least, synthesizer and SFX sounds.

The KORG KRONOS and Nautilus complements both programs and combinations with the simultaneous generation of drum grooves by the use of the “drum patterns” feature. At KARO, we are convinced that this option dramatically increases the joy of playing. Therefore, we devoted ourselves to the creation of long drum patterns. And it was most important to us to create such drum patterns which mimic the playing style of a studio drummer of flesh and blood. The result is our first KARO Sophisticated Grooves library. It presents you with 101 drum patterns which have been used in 128 programs based on the internal drum sets.
