For the 116th release on Perspectives Digital, label owner Darin Epsilon returns with Garuda Rising, a track born from a moment of inspiration during his recent tour in Bali.  The initial spark for the song ignited while waiting at Ngurah Rai International Airport, and from there, the idea blossomed into an electrifying fusion of deep bass, atmospheric depth, and captivating melodies.

Following the monumental success of his recent tracks Janissaries, Nirmata, and Tengri, Darin continues to push the boundaries of sound with his distinctive blend of melody, rhythm, and groove.  His unwavering dedication to creating unforgettable dancefloor moments has solidified his reputation as one of the most sought-after names in the global Melodic House & Techno scene.

The title Garuda Rising is deeply symbolic, drawing inspiration from the legendary bird-like creature of Hindu and Buddhist mythology that serves as Indonesia’s national emblem.  Representing strength, freedom, and resilience, the Garuda is a powerful symbol of the country’s rich heritage and spiritual traditions.  Much like its namesake, Darin’s track embodies a sense of ascension and transformation, with soaring melodies and driving rhythms evoking the spirit of flight and liberation.

A true pioneer of the genre, Darin has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including Amsterdam Dance Event, Ultra Music Festival, Burning Man, and BPM Festival. Karol Dhe is a passionate DJ and producer with over 30 years of experience in the music industry. A conservatory graduate in the 1980s, he has successfully combined his technical expertise with constant creativity, captivating audiences with sets and productions characterized by a wide musical diversity.

As a songwriter and composer, Karol has explored many facets of musical expression, creating unique tracks that reflect his commitment to the art. His first vinyl release in the 2000s marked a turning point in his career, earning him well-deserved recognition. His collaboration with his brother on the album Kilométrique was particularly praised for its harmonious fusion of talents and varied influences.

Karol Dhe has signed with renowned labels such as Cho-Ku-Reï and Proton and has had the privilege of working with talented artists such as Prophet Tribes, AR-MEN-DA VIKEN, Slandry Geste, and Jeff DSG, further solidifying his presence on the international electronic scene. A vinyl enthusiast, he masterfully blends tradition with modernity, skillfully mixing the latest releases with classic vinyl records—a talent that has particularly impressed audiences during his performances in various clubs.

Currently, Karol Dhe is dedicated to multiple ongoing projects, some of which are already set for release. He has launched new projects under different aliases: K&O, which marks a return to progressive roots with his brother, and Kronicles, a project focused on techno and dark progressive, promising a unique fusion of musical styles.

Alongside his career as a producer and DJ, Karol Dhe also plays an active role as a radio programmer, curating an eclectic musical selection that showcases his refined taste for the many nuances of electronic music. His dedication to the art of mixing, particularly with vinyl, remains one of his greatest passions, which he continues to share enthusiastically through his performances in clubs and bars.
