We're live with a new podcast series in which I'll be presenting DJs and artists that I find inspiring, exciting or who I think deserve a platform they don't have (yet).

Kicking off things with one of my favorite producers of all times and a true underground hero - Venezuelan electro kingpin @daggatrx. Even though he stepped up into the limelight very recently, his debut EP came out just three years ago via Jensen Interceptor's International Chrome label, he already established himself as one of the genre's most versatile producers, seamlessly fusing genres like Electro, Raptor House, Funk Carioca, Breaks, and Techno. Currently he's producing at hyper speed, releasing a flurry of tracks, edits, remixes and collaborations, while at the same time touring relentlessly. 

This b2b was spontaneously recorded in a basement mid-July in Berlin that also happens to be @elmanao's studio - another artist you should follow. No tracklist, comment for track IDs!

My set from the ambient stage Oasis at Kosmos Festival 2024 in the beautiful Finnish forest of Ristiina, Finland.

This set was the first two hours of a set that turned out to be four hours long, playing from 4am to 8am. It was a true priviledge to curate this emotional journey for the beautiful audience of Kosmos.

The cover art is from my hike at Tour du Mont Blanc this summer, which very much inspired the mindscape of this sonic journey.

Second Storey showcases his love of and knack for crafting sci-fi electro-futurism on this escapist new 12". Known as one of the first artists on fabric's Houndstooth label, he has also made waves on electro powerhouses Trust, Mechatronica and Frustrated Funk and is a key resident at London's underground techno and electro hub, Natural Selection. True Sneaker Social die-hard Etch returns with a monumental new album. Scream of the Butterfly shows the depth and breadth of one of the illest producers operating across the many spheres of club music with a distinct “you ‘kay?” slant.

From the moment the low-end pressure and loaded samples rear their heads on the opening track, Zak Brashill demonstrates his intent to sculpt Scream Of The Butterfly as a proper album — an end-to-end listening experience full of peaks and troughs which focus on sonic storytelling much more than club functionality. Throughout his imperious output to date, the man like Etch has displayed an affinity for sound design to match his instinct for what bangs on the spectrum of dubstep, garage, jungle and hip-hop, but now he’s gone postal on soundworld-building, with a grip of heavyweights drafted in to help set the scene.

Marking a major milestone for Dispatch Recordings, we are proud to present Ed:it's Word Out EP as our 200th release. Right from the early demo stage it was clear this EP had something special, making it the perfect choice for such a significant number. Ed:it himself embraced the moment, with the '200' becoming the central feature of Arp XP’s striking artwork design. 

While, technically, we’ve already surpassed 200 releases if you include sub-labels, albums, and VIPs, this release still feels like a landmark moment which needed an EP that truly represented what Dispatch has stood for since 2001.

Word Out EP delivers exactly that. Across five heavyweight tracks, Ed:it captures the raw energy and spirit that has defined Dispatch over the past two decades. Each track has been a staple in both Ed:it and Ant TC1’s sets for the past two years, road-tested and refined to perfection.
