Dancefloor heroes Oliver follow up their finely tuned Mechanical EP with a surprising new remix collection that casts their already-diverse originals in a stunning new light. Kicking off with a stomping, fan favorite mix of "Night Is On My Mind" by festival king Dillon Francis, Mechanical Remixes kicks into even higher gear with Nom De Strip's big room take on "Control," before pulling a moody left turn with Tchami's housey (dare we say jazzy!) version of "MYB," and closing out strong with a high-NRG remix of "Mechanical" by new young producer Values. Chromeo feat. Toro Y Moi "Come Alive" (The Magician Remix)

There’s a lot of amazing things aligning here with this premiere.  First off, it’s new material from Klaxons. This alone is momentous as they were essentially one of the first acts to really take off in blog culture almost 10 years ago and have even had trends based on them in the UK.  Basically, they broke the internet before there was such a thing.  Second, there are some serious names affiliated with this new material that’s supposed to be presented as a new album in the Spring.  The album appears to be steered in some part by Tom Rowlands (1/2 of the Chemical Brothers…HELLO) and the one and only James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem, DFA Records).  These facts alone have me geeked as they are two of my bigger influences in all of dance music.  Third, this premiere.  Word is Gorgon City produced the original and Claptone, who’s been on fire in the disco house realm for some time, took this to the deep house stratosphere.  So essentially this whole project seems crazy and I’m officially now on pins and needles waiting for more to drop.

Yet more talent from Toronto, Canada strikes. 'Kill Them With Colour' come at us with this great remix of the track 'stronger by Jonah McGowan' seemingly very different to your usual bass house, this track is one to be enjoyed, all for free again!

Taken from his brilliant debut album 'Die On the Dancefloor' London based producer Tyson Speede catapults himself back to clubs with this modern twisted Hi-NRG smash 'Mr Rain' including a giant remix package. Having released three singles (Out Of My Mind, After You're Gone, Die On The Dancefloor) throughout 2011, Tyson has built upon his reputation of delivering classic sounding synth driven dancefloor tracks, influenced by the heady days of disco and recalling artists such as Cerrone, Giorgio Moroder and Donna Summer. As with previous releases the most striking characteristic of Tyson is his voice, capable of reaching a falsetto that recalled that of disco legend Sylvester. With his debut album incl. the single 'Mr Rain' Tyson proves he's not only like a breath of fresh air but also a great reminder of the glorious 80s. 'Mr Rain' comes complete with an exclusive and ultra strong package of reworks made for the underground dance floor ranging from deep / disco house to more techy territories.
