NIGHT ONE @ HORN | March 2025

🦄 For the Pride month this year, I would like to release a mix on my own to conclude my amazing times playing at various queer and gay parties in the past six months. For instance, I was on cloud nine playing for Sad Bitch at The Observatory, and felt like recreating the night of pure joy. So here it is, with my shameless (which should have the same meaning as "proud") selfie  - as well as the German title ("Bin so ein Schwuchtel" it is, to think of the Pride month). 🦄

For Week 4 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in our home town of Berlin with Buttons. Opening this special week is their resident @alisonswing with an all-vinyl mix.

Alison Swing is a DJ with a natural, honest style shaped by her roots in the LA warehouse scene. As co-founder of Dig Deeper, her parties and sets helped shape a decade of underground dance music in downtown Los Angeles. Since relocating to Berlin seven years ago, she’s become a regular at some of the city’s most exciting events, including her debut at Panorama Bar and a residency at Buttons. With a warm, uplifting sound and a keen ear for tracks that connect, she’s played over 30 countries, bringing her joyful take on club music to dance floors around the world.

This mix was recorded at her flat in Kreuzberg on a sunny morning before the summer heat kicked in. It features a bunch of new records picked up during recent crate-digging trips to Japan, Mexico and New York. It’s a playful, sassy selection, full of the quirky energy that reminds her of Buttons – and the freedom to be completely herself on the dance floor.
