Blackbird is looking for new girlfriend, starlings, motorway hum, planes taking off and even a car alarm makes an appearance. Not my ideal soundscape with all those industrial noises, but it's London, so... mustn't grumble.

Bit late for nice and quiet morning chorus, but pretty busy with birds, some traffic about mile away and Heathrow already in full operation.

Short test of my matched stereo pair of UK made Clippy Micbooster. Few of my steps, passing traffi, car door slam and my noisy dog. Recorded on quite a windy day, hence the background noise.

Interesting sounds that resemble horse clapping. Hammersmith Bridge has a very old surface made of metal slabs covered with a thin layer of tarmac. SONY PCM D100. Recorded in 96kHz 24 bit. Little EQ (HPF below 40hz) to cut the wind noise.

Note added in June 2025. I have recorded it several years ago before they have closed Hammersmith bridge to traffic. Someone in authority (who is also clinically insane) suggested bridge demolition as repair would be too expensive!  Fingers crossed it will never happen...
