Dear friends! Grateful to share today the video recording of an intimate rooftop session I had a chance to play for a lovely group of people in Oslo, Norway last summer! 🌅 

We started things yin and ambient to start inwards and as the sun was setting we slowly got into movement for a downtempo session that led to a beautiful group harmony.

Six years since the last chapter of everyone's favorite Scumfrog mix series, it is finally time to introduce volume 6 of Friends With Boats! The series that was inspired by a sailing trip in 2007, and slowly navigated the ever changing sounds of Electronic sunsets, continues with a carefully selected bag of tunes that were released at any point during the past 6 years, and deemed worthy for this mix. As with the other volumes in the series, Friends With Boats is best enjoyed as the sun sets, out in the open, with libations and friends, ideally on the open water. 7th Studio (Happy New Year), 2017

We’re continuing our British Airways special in collaboration with Deeper Sounds and are happy to welcome the next gifted storyteller to the Schirmchendrink team:

Milo Häfliger, Swiss, originally from Solothurn, a small town located in the north-western part of Switzerland on the foot of the Jura mountains, is known for his sophisticated selections. 

Not in his wildest dreams Milo imagined he’ll be travelling the world to play dj sets when he recorded his first ever mix. But, since it is that easy to fall for his mixes and to connect with the emotions transported through them, his success does not come as a surprise! 

Today, Milo is a goosebumps guarantee in the ethnic and melodic electronica scene. He hosts his own event series Marché des Miracles in Zurich, Switzerland’s electronic music hot spot, is resident of the Heal Play Love collective and plays at the most renowned venues and events such as the Swiss premiere of The Gardens of Babylon in Basel next month – just to mention a few of his current engagements.

And, I’m sure that everyone who met him in person will agree: Milo is just a completely down-to-earth and incredibly likeable human being! 
Thanks, Milo, for taking the time to mix this phenomenal contribution to the Schirmchendrink menu, it’s a pleasure featuring a true Swiss gem on the channel.

As we move forward through 2020's cycle, we are thrilled to launch or own mix series called ‘Serere’. Each episode with revolve around a collection of songs reflecting our seasonal mindset. First up is a collage of songs that gives us the feeling of winter hibernation: warm, spatial, and moody.

Karol XVII & MB Valence - Polish representatives of the Deep House genre, dedicated to this dance subcategory for over a decade, nominated for Best Deep House Artist Awards on Beatport - the biggest electronic music retailer, awarded by DJ MAG - a monthly DJ magazine as the best Polish DJs. Karol Samocki and Marek Bigajski (as these are the artists' real names), led Loco Records - their independent imprint, to the title of the best Deep House label on Beatport with their three recordings in top 10 best-selling tracks of Beatport's annual sales reports. The pair have been involved in cooperation with many great Deep House artists, starting from Miguel Migs, Brian Tappert, Robert Owens, through Timewriter, Ian Pooley, Jimpster, and ending with Lusine, or Maya Jane Coles. Focusing mainly on releases on their Loco Records label, they also made exceptions and put out their tracks on other smaller or even much larger labels, such as Get Physical, Toolroom, Suara, Armada Deep or Ministry of Sound. Their first original album was released relatively late, because only in 2022, with 3 singers invited to take part in the project: Jono McCleery, Lazarusman and Keely Timlin.
