Nassim Mehran might have the best energy ever! Everyone who knows her knows exactly what I mean. She has that positive life force surrounding her, like a Jedi. It is, at least for me, very easy to get sucked into that energy and I love that about her. That same energy, that happiness, transpires so well when she dj's. It is just a delight to observe and especially since her technique is so on point. She know's what she is doing and it feels like it came natural to her since birth. You can also hear and feel that energy in her track selection. This mix is no exception. It takes no prisoners. It starts on a very warehousey techno feeling, soon to be effected by percussion and a very nice carnival techno aspect. Then a little minimal, then a little housey, old school meets new school and in the end it gets a little darker and hypnotic. Perfect for the early mornings and for the late nights. It really doesn't matter. It's perfect for whenever. Thank you Nassim for making this mix for me, I appreciate it and I adore you. Salute! 

Two things I have to mention before I stop here. One being that Nassim has released her own music together with Swedish legend Zoo Brazil on the label Panterre Musique. Go to her page and check that out together with a bunch of dope mixes. Second and maybe the most important thing here... Me and Nassim grew up in the same part of Stockholm (Vallentuana). I know... Mind Blown!

E P I S O D E S Mix Series 015 - Nassim Mehran

A short set I recorded a week ago for a few close friends in the comfort of my cave. Went through some Rominimal, some deep techno, some old school housey stuff towards the end. 

The power went out that night in my neighbourhood. The set, and the speaker powered through my inverter backup was all we had. No lights, no internet, just locked into the zone.

Summer '20

Through times edition part 2 finally up. 

Played an extended 3 hour set at a farm house far far away, this is a set I personally really enjoyed.

Had an opportunity to play out an impromptu 3 hour set for some close friends on a lovely rooftop. 

Started off with some warm up deep tunes and then explored the dark arts with my take on the raw and hypnotic side of Techno.
