Going out with a bang!

It’s been the end of 2022 and about to be the end of the second second season of Doc Jay´s Audio Inn.
Thank you all for the notorious support, likes, shirt purchases, reposts and good vibes during these last few episodes.
It´s been a wild ride and we are glad you been with us all the way through.

Now, lets get it cracking and turn the speakers up to the maxXxxXx for a final ride through the soothing spa named Doc Jays Audio Inn.

q. pls introduce yourself
a. I’m Beatrice, a Franco-english DJ, producer and musician based in Paris, France. I’m born on the 16th of April 2000 in Paris and I grew up in the country side in Burgundy. I studied sound art for 5 years in Strasbourg and now I do music as my profession. 

q. is there a story behind the mix? how did it come together?
a. Dubstep and ambient being the main genres that I DJ, I thought I might make a mix that combines the two, like Gabber Eleganza’s Hardcore Soul Mixtape, where they take intros/buildups of hardcore track, but never leave the drop. So I took dubstep tracks with melancolic intros, bridges and outros, and made this ambient mix on Ableton. 

q. in your opinion, what would be the ideal circumstances to enjoy your mix?
a. That’s a hard question. I’d say in a train on your way to a party in a city. The dubstep samples will excite you for the party to come, but the ambient will make it nice to watch the landscape go by out the window with the sunset.

q. describe a favourite object in your living room...
a. I don’t really have a living room at the moment because I’m moving between studio or shared flats sublets for short periods, but I like to bring with me my perfume which has been Eden by Cacharel for the past 8 years and has a beautiful packaging that looks nice in a living space.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
a. I’m working on trying to produce music  which is a hybrid of techno and dubstep, and working on a label of my own that I will launch by the end of the year.
