Este ano o Festival Contato precisou ser antecipado em função da pandemia COVID e da situação nacional cada vez mais grave. Começamos 01 de março e esperamos não durar muito, mas enquanto precisar, o que era um evento, agora mantém-se um espaço, um hospital de campanha para nossa sanidade mental.

Em "praça pública”: a internet. Tudo é construído com parcerias, trabalho voluntário, respeito ao próximo e doação. Com civilidade, sem ódio, sem negacionismo. Com uma abordagem positiva, que permita um respiro à nuvem tóxica que se formou nesses últimos tempos.O Contato começou em 2005, virou virtual em 2007 e teve várias edições, até 2019, no Dia Mundial de Luta Contra a Aids - 1o de dezembro. No ano passado optamos por mudar o foco da epidemia HIV-Aids para a atual pandemia, mais devastadora ainda que a aids.

O Projeto Contato reafirma a necessidade de mobilização social no enfrentamento da pandemia, e se propõe a ser um espaço de descanso, discussão e reflexão sobre o nosso papel nesse momento. Não abandonemos o humano que há em nós e nem aqueles que estão sendo tratados com total desumanidade, ao nosso lado, na nossa frente.

A luta que começou em 2005, com a Laços, uma ONG da Letícia, uma amiga de Goiânia que a aids levou (que era a própria ONG, sua casa, sua vida…), a luta de tanta gente querida que perdemos, e a luta diária de tantos outros brasileiros que precisam de médicos, de medicamentos, de oxigênio, de portas abertas, de um Brasil que enxergue as pessoas com suas diferenças e identidades únicas (não para dividi-las, mas para igualá-las), é a luta que precisamos abraçar. Um pequeno guarda-chuva, nessa tempestade, mas que se trouxer um pouco de alento e um respiro para enfrentá-la já está valendo. E também porque afeta todos, cidadãos e cidadãs que compartilhamos, além da humanidade, o pertencimento a esse país que chamamos Brasil. Pois assistir o que seus habitantes estão vivendo, sem indignar-se e buscar ajudar (e não atrapalhar como algumas “autoridades") é impossível. Para reclamar, xingar o governo e lamentar não faltam canais.

O Projeto Contato busca a irradiação de informações que estimulem o trabalho de prevenção, assistência social e o exercício da cidadania. Convidamos você para essa praça virtual, com música, imagens, ideias e ações construtivas!

Gemessen an der laschan‘schen Podcast-Tempolimite haben wir es hier mit einem regelrechten Flitzer zu tun!
Angetrieben von einer verheissungsvollen Zuckerpeitsche geht es gleich volle Kraft voraus!
Es gibt aber auch immer wieder Verschnaufpausen, sei es an einer Ecke irgendwo in Afrika oder bei Klavier, Kaffee & Kuchen.
Dann geht irgendwo die Sonne unter und eine gemächlich, aber heiss dampfende alte Lokomotive schleppt einem weiter durch die Nacht.
Ziel ist ein kleiner dunkler Partykeller in deinem Kopf.
Und viel später, als es schon wieder hell wird, schlendert man glücklich und bassdrum-gesättigt vom ersten Vogelgezwitscher begleitet nach Hause...

Today our Sensodelic partner is Coordese! Currently living in Kassel, Germany, he is producing his own tracks and diving into the technical world of sounds, besides that, he studies Social Work at the University and contribute to the Music Scene in the city - helping out, playing at events and making their own, with the collective @Dreiradfahrt.  Since the scene there mostly features techno music, They bring more organic slow beats into the mix to reach other soundscapes.
In his words: "The mix was recorded at home with a very good friend of mine (Kiki Kokolores), with whom I started to get more into the Podcast scene. And there is Manucho, a few years ago, an Artist from Buenos Aires in Argentina, who showed us really how beautiful it can be to look at the slower side of electronic music. And yeah, since then I started mixing and collecting downtempo music and really fell in love in a different way with that. Normally I like to do downtempo with a little techno infusion, but I decided that for the Senso family, I wanted to do something more organic and warm with a little touch of psychedelic grooves. I tried to bring some of that Manucho vibe I fell in love with, in the first place! I hope it worked and hope you and the people who will listen to it enjoy. Big love from Germany!"

Hoje nosso parceiro Sensodélico é o Coordese! Atualmente reside em Kassel, na Alemanha, e está produzindo suas próprias faixas enquanto mergulha no mundo dos sons, além disso, estuda Trabalho Social na Universidade e contribui com a cena musical da cidade - ajudando, tocando e fazendo eventos com o coletivo @Dreiradfahrt. Como a cena lá é composta principalmente de techno, eles trazem batidas lentas mais orgânicas alcançando outras paisagens sonoras
Nas palavras dele: A mixagem foi gravada em casa com um grande amigo meu (Kiki Kokolores), com quem comecei a entrar mais na onda do Podcast. Também teve Manucho, alguns anos atrás, um Artista de Buenos Aires na Argentina, que nos mostrou como realmente pode ser lindo olhar para o lado mais lento da música eletrônica. E sim, desde então comecei a mixar e colecionar músicas downtempo e realmente me apaixonei por um diferente caminho. Normalmente eu gosto de fazer sets de downtempo com um pouco de infusão de techno, mas decidi que para a família Senso, eu queria fazer algo mais orgânico e quente com um toque de grooves psicodélicos. Tentei trazer um pouco daquela vibe do Manucho pela qual me apaixonei, pela primeira vez! Espero que tenha funcionado e espero gostem.

Wir freuen uns sehr euch mal wieder eine unserer Lieblingsbekannschaften des Jahres zu präsentieren. Sein Sound ist verträumt und antreibend, genau der Sound den wir in diesen Tagen brauchen - er ist so warm wie seine Worte:

Nostalgische Rückblicke, jetzt wo das Jahr sich wieder zum Ende neigt. Ein Jahr mit viel Tohuwabohu und Ups and Downs - genauso wie Momente, welche mich positiv stimmen, beruhigen, schlicht einfach Spaß machen. Und ich freue mich wie das Alpaca im Bild wenn ich an den Sommer denke, wo die Welt vorübergehend in Teilaspekten wieder normaler lief und Festivals und Partys zu vielen schönen Bekanntschaften führten! So unter anderem auch die 60 Zoll Crew, die mich eigeladen hat etwas in ihre Setreihe rein zu sneaken! So kann ich immerhin einen kleinen Teil zurückgeben, nachdem ihr auf dem Lichtalben Festival dafür gesorgt habt, dass eine großartige Wohlfühl-Oase geschaffen wurde auf welcher ich Tage hätte verbringen können! (Ganz zu schweigen von eurem Auftreten und den schönen Gesprächen vor und hinter der Bar! <3) Danke dafür, Danke für die Einladung und auf ein hoffentlich baldiges Wiedersehen!

Die Tage werden langsam länger und wir drehen munter weiter – dieses Mal mit an unseren Karussellstangen: Jan Ludentwiete aus der Hafenstadt Hamburg!
Ein recht seltenes Vögelchen an den meisten Plattentellern, kann Jan eher auf selbst organisierten Veranstaltungen oder kleineren Festivals im hohen Norden und dem tiefsten Osten der Republik angetroffen werden.
Bereits sein ganzes Leben lang sammelt er Musik aus den verschiedensten Genres von Soul, Jazz, Funk, Caribbean bis hin zu Afro beats – eine Vorliebe, die er wohl dem legendären Mojo Club aus seinen Hamburger Gefilden zu verdanken hat.
Heute befinden sich eher organische Downtempo und House Tracks, bouncige Disco Tunes und runtergepichte Basslines in seinem Köfferchen. Eine ausgefeilte Diversität in seiner Musikauswahl sticht dabei jedoch stets heraus, wie auch in seinem Mix für uns.
Die ausgewählten Stücke werden hier mit einem satten Groove zusammengehalten wie durch dicken Kleister. Ein durchschlagender, fast schon protziger Sound, den wir sicherlich noch an vielen weiteren Stationen auf die Ohren bekommen werden!
Vielen lieben Dank für diesen energiegeladenen Stimmungsaufheller – und haltet durch, ihr da draußen, der Sommer ist nicht mehr fern (:

Hidden Garden Radio #018 by Coordese

We're back with a new That Escalated Slowly with podcast. This time it was our own Volzigt who stepped up to the plate for this set full of little gems. It literally takes you everywhere. It starts with some nice and ambient spheric sounds, to a more dark and techy vibe and closing with some serious tropical sunbeams. 

Volzigt moves in the vibrant nightlife of Amsterdam where he is one of the founding fathers of Club Escargot.
After years of exploring, experimenting and playing different genres of music, he has developed his own unique style and sound. His sets distinguish themselves for their melancholic and dark characteristics that also provide an uplifting vibe reminiscent of endless nights full of wonder and intensity.
