https://soundcloud.com/philipp-otterbach was one of the first resident at Salon des Amateurs, before moving to Berlin. Together with Vladimir Ivkovic, they organized the Substance parties. Since 2014 he released music on labels like Grokenberger, Knekelhuis, Themes For Great Cities, brokntoys, and remixed quite a few peeps. In 2020 he dropped his debut album 'Everything Else Matters' on R.i.O. Nowadays he divides his time between being a creative director for Ui / UX Design and producing music, and still enjoys to travel around with old records to play in front of a young crowd.

He just finished exercise 5/10 from his book: back to social life. 5 more to go. The mix is also kind of reappraisal, because he was forced to listen to a goa version of AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' on a festival lately. Anyhow, this one's a special treat. Taking off gently, one gets quickly sucked in and seduced by all kinds of obscure and exquisite, wicked and wacko tunes, making you drift beyond your own consciousness. The mix combines the animals of his daily life in Kreuzberg. It sure gets hotter with this otter…..

In the realm of De Kat Memwa series, the musical milieu has undergone a remarkable transformation since 2018. The rare beats and curious chords have evolved into a more intricate and sophisticated soundscape, intent on stimulating an array of emotions and cognitive responses, from tranquil reveries to incisive musings.

Despite these changes, one aspect remains constant: the meticulous curation of guests. Each selector invited to join the series represents a fount of inspiration, overflowing with boundless talent and expertise, all of which I deeply admire and hold in the highest esteem.

So I'm extremely happy that today we have a guest mix recorded by Frank from Berlin. A man of many guises and talents. You may know him as Frans Æmbient or A Method To Exist. In our series, unveils his latest sonic endeavour T.V.S.T. (TV IS TERRIBLE) project in which he constructs a hauntological reality with pearls from the scrapyard. 

Frank is also the visionary mastermind behind the experimental label and mix series Kashual Plastik, a cherished haven for adventurous researchers, outsiders and mavericks alike. 

Moreover, he curates the musical palette at the Arkaoda Berlin, one of the world's most daring and multidimensional venues.

Wavering Forms 003 - Vincent Manfuoco (Marmo Music)

Menqui is a Berlin based dj & digger constantly on the hunt for musical treasures ranging from disco over cosmic, synth pop wave proto house and many other fields. Besides sharing his music from behind the decks he has also been involved in a variety of different projects - f.e. by contributing a remix to Don't DJ's release on Planet Almanac or hosting different party series. Rumors are that there might even be a connection to the infamous, yet mysterious 'Serious Trouble' releases. Go figure!

Amateur Exorcist, also known as Baster Jazzster, comes from Severodvinsk, a port city on the shores of the White Sea, but currently lives in Moscow. Inspired by the horizonless waters that could be seen from his window, Amateur started collecting exotic oriental records and launched his DJ project with a set compiled strictly of afrofunk.

The Bucharest based Aleksa Alaska has been carving out her remarkable style very quickly. Even though she just started to pursue her DJ career in 2016, her extensive output soon attracted attention by renowned online entities like NTS Radio, Intergalactic FM, Rinse France.
If you comb through Aleksa's online presence you quickly realise how dedicated she is to music and other art forms. 
Her mixes are explorations of different moods and degrees across the electronic spectrum.

Saulk is no more sleeping at Dumont street, he left the fear to finally regain liberty. Due to that, he decided to record a excursion into darkness. Saulk started in 2016 vinyl label Mélodies Souterraines, exploring largest electronic compositions from both past & present, as compilations by format. In 2017, Musiques Electroniques Actuelles seen light, focused on unique intemporal musik. The next release will introduce San Francisco art-rock band Zru Vogue. Find inside that transmission only old records from Italia, U.S.A, Germany, Netherlands ... With artists such as Marco Micheli, 3 Teens Kill 4, Chen Yi, Musik Aus Strom ...
