Epic Adventure

Berklee Music Wellness Assignment #1: Create Your Song.
Written, Performed, and Produced by Kate Stanton 4-17-21

This song is about a beautiful place called Garden by the Sea in Madeira, Portugal. I learned about it on my work desktop's Windows 10 'Spotlight Image' login page (I included the exact image as the thumbnail). I was so inspired by the photo, that I wrote a Hallmark movie-style storyline of a writer leaving it all behind and starting over somewhere new. My intention is to leave listeners feeling inspired about their dreams. I added some ballet, acrobatics/gymnastics, and jazz-inspired dance moves for additional musical elements which I will later choreograph for a YouTube video. Lastly, I recorded this song using GarageBand and will share via SoundCloud for peer-review on the discussion board.
