Stepping up to the plate for this week's i-DJ is Toronto resident Robotaki aka Preston. The Harry Potter fan works his magic on elements of funk, disco, house and electro-pop, resulting in light-hearted music for those who choose to take life a little less seriously. "This mix contains some of my own material, a few retrospective pieces and a track called 'We're So Clueless', featured on my forthcoming EP. This is the first time anybody has heard this track so I'm quite excited to share it with this mix. Most of the other tracks are my label buddies at Heavy Disco such as fellow Montreal producer Fonkynson and London based DiscoSocks."

Solid Steel (25th April) 20 years ago Nas released his legendary Illmatic album and DJ Moneyshot has put together an outstanding tribute mix 'Nas - Half-Man Half-Amazing'. As with the previous tribute mixes for the Beastie Boys, De La Soul and Public Enemy, it's more an audio documentary threading together sample sources, interview footage and remixes alongside the original Illmatic tracks. Hear the vocabulary, the flow and the rhythm expertly delivered by Nas, backed up by the sublime production of Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Large Professor and Q-Tip, plus original samples from Lee Erwin, The Heath Brothers, Ahmad Jamal and Reuben Wilson. All this deconstructed and rebuilt by Moneyshot for another classic Solid Steel edition.
