🔉 Exactly two weeks ago in CONTACT on Proton Radio I had a guest who moved my soul and once again my belief in the motto "Progressive Music for Progressive People"

Her name is Wendy Wustlich known as W&DY.
W&DY is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer who takes her listeners on a joyful journey with her sensitive & bold flows.
W&DY combines elements of progressive house with organic, techno & atmospheric sounds and emphasis on melodies & dirty baselines.W&DY is part of the Movement Bookings (GR) talent roster, alongside artists such as Alex O'Rion, Hobin Rude, LORRAÎNNE, Paul Anthonee, Tash, and other gifted producers.
In 2022, W&DY was invited by Club NL to host its own club night, and thus AMPERSAND was born. AMPERSAND is a 6-hour event filled with beautiful gems, feel-good melodies, and dirty basslines where people can feel, heal, and connect. Shares the night with guests she adores like Tash & Miss Dominguez..on AMPERSAND we love to surprise & create a range of emotions and feelings for our listeners, a unique and immersive musical experience.
W&DY's latest project is part of LIA: Ladies I Admire, an inspiring initiative by Amber Long that empowers talented women in the music industry worldwide.
In 2010, it was the nightlife scene of Greece that understood the soul of progressive music. From this moment on W&DY discovered her passion for progressive house music. It felt magical back in the day & it's still magical.In 2011, she released her first track, "Voices Of Patton," with Stage by H and Tash, who taught her to produce, and the release immediately made it to Hernan Cattaneo's charts. Since then, W&DY has had great experiences playing alongside artists such as Guy J, Pole Folder, Matias Chilano, Dimitri, Clay van Dijk a.o, and has performed at prestigious venues such as Paradiso, RLGC, La Rocca, and Café d'Anvers, to name a few. She has also played at several Prides and in her beloved motherland Indonesia. W&DY has been a regular performer at ADE since 2012, showcasing her passion to audiences worldwide.
Today, W&DY is a passionate Organic House, Deep Tech, and Progressive Techno DJ who always performs with love & passion, whether to set the mood or close an event on a high note.

Warm, deep, melodic and always based on an elegant groove, these are a few appropriate keywords to describe Dutch DJ/producer Miss Dominguez. Growing up with the first raves in the ‘90s and listening to tapes with Chicago house and Detroit techno resulted in a big love for electronic dance music that’s still present up until today.
 
Taking place behind the decks herself seemed nothing but a logical next step. In her well-crafted sets, which range from organic- to progressive house and melodic techno, she loves to create a flow and generate a vibe of energy and unity with the crowd.

Besides sharing the stage with names like Dave Seaman, Applescal, Modeplex, Dimitri, DepGlobe, W&DY and Clay van Dijk, she received several guestmix
Miss Melera, Olivier Weiter, invitations for Proton- and Frisky Radio. As one of the residents together with T-Gray at the radiostation Amsterdams Most Wanted she is making her mark with their weekly program ‘The BEAT’.

The musical journey goes on as she teamed up with Dutch producer Daniel Testas for a collab implementing the above mentioned qualities and experience in production. Her debut EP, which includes remixes by Weird Sounding Dude and Ric Niels, was very well received. Another deepening in her love for music in which she is sure to continue.

The latest podcast comes from Forerunners. Brenden LaBonte a.k.a. Forerunners has released a steady stream of immersive and unique tracks over the past 8 years, with remixes and originals on various Solarstone labels, Sudbeat, Suffused, Saturate Audio, Silk Music, Perfecto, and others. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. Forerunners music is about the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJ’s who know how to work a room. This is what progressive trance music is all about.

Bio:

Kaspar Tasane has been named "the one to watch," by Soundgarden Resident Gustin, in DMC World Magazine. "His music just totally blows me away. It's elegant yet driving, and has a timeless energy that often reminds me of the mid 1990's progressive sound." Kaspar hails from Tallinn, Estonia and uses his experience there while growing up in the European electronic music scene, to bring a unique flavor all his own to the progressive house sound. Kaspar Tasane's unique style has garnered support from the likes of trance legend Armin Van Buuren, who showcased Kaspar's track "Fusha" at A State of Trance Festival 700. Kaspar has also captivated the attention of pillars like Paul Oakenfold, Solarstone, and Cosmic Gate. As Kaspar strives to evolved to a more underground and progressive sound, DJs Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Darin Epsilon, Kenneth Thomas, Sandra Collins, Chris Fortier and more than a handful of others have all publicly shown and professionally lent their support.


As a DJ, Kaspar comes from an era before the sync button and USB sticks. After spinning at various club nights in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn, Kaspar and DJ partner DTB quickly gained a residency at the hottest dance station of the time on Energy FM. Friday night's show, "Weekend Liftoff" rapidly became the most popular radio show in the capital. That resulted in trucking crates of vinyl all around the country! It landed gigs everywhere from the freshest clubs, to underground events, and even stages on major festival circuits. After transplanting back in the US, Kaspar continues to showcase his skills behind the decks. Kaspar has played at various raves and club events in Portland, Austin and San Antonio as well as, Houston.
