Both the title tack and “Condor” engulf the listener in audible melancholy, each covering a range of pensive and brooding harmonies.

A fresh face in the electronic music scene, Mike Harkins has started making waves during last year, receiving continuous support from none other than Hernan Cattaneo with numerous features in the selections of the iconic El Maestro.

Fuelled by the energy of countless smiles and furious dancefloor reactions collected weekend after weekend, Mike now steps confidently into the spotlight with his debut EP—a well-deserved moment to share his sonic identity with the wider electronic music community.
The journey begins with the title track, ‘Strato’—a groove-heavy roller driven by low-slung beats and a rubbery bassline. Subtle stabs and lush, reverberated vocal textures weave through the mix, crafting a hypnotic atmosphere that’s tailored for late-night vibes.
Next up, ‘Fever Dream’ takes hold. An altogether deeper affair, its Latin American feels are hard to resist. Silky smooth hypnotic vibes abound as ethereal vocals and razor sharp sonics juxtapose with gleeful intent.
Closing the EP, ‘Carbon’ takes things into cinematic territory. Airy, Bladerunner-esque pads set a mysterious tone, while arpeggiated hooks build tension, priming the floor for a proper energy blow.

Vapour Recordings returns with 2 debutants to the label for another EP jam packed full or sonic goodness!

First up is the EP headliner with Patch Park delivering two very fine grooves with Hips and Dips and Delete the Past. Hips and Dips is a peak time hypnotic juggernaut guaranteed to do some damage while Delete the Past takes on a more warm up approach.

On remix duties we have another debut from Zankee Gulati. Having featured heavily on labels such as The Soundgarden and Meanwhile, Zankee joins the Vapour Recordings stables with a fantastic rendition of Hips and Dips.

This EP has had some great early support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren and many more.
