On January 27, 2022 the prompts were "Frank Sinatra" and "Stars." A song about what we call our loved ones, and how that changes when they leave us. Arranged with that old-school nostalgic Frank Sinatra vibe.

Moon And Stars

On January 8, 2021 the prompts were "6/8 time signature" and "Random Pinterest Quote." The 6/8 time signature was less of a challenge, and more a reminder that other time signatures besides 4/4 exist. The Pinterest quote was "The darkest nights produce the brightest stars." The result was this song about finding positivity in places where there seems like there is none (in my case, my university experience...)

February

On January 11, 2022 the prompts were "Billy Joel" and "Change." Moving away can be a big change. But whether staying or leaving, we still have the capacity for change. Arranged with rocking piano reminiscent of that Billy Joel groove.

Different Person

On January 31, 2023 the song prompts were "Wedding song" and "Love language." A match made in heaven between song style and theme. Written in 3/4 as if a couple could waltz to this song as a first dance. Each stanza dedicated is dedicated to a love language, inspired by rom-coms and romances of the contemporary silver screen.

The Way That We Love

On January 15, 2021 the song prompts were "Sunrise and sunset" and "7/4 time signature." The challenge was to maintain a groove to match what a brain feels like on an all-nighter, while using a chaotic odd time signature.

Hiding The Sun

Filipino singer-songwriter originally from Wellington, New Zealand. Influenced by artists like AJ Rafael, Sara Bareilles, and the singers her mum listens to, her original music can be described as a cross between pop, jazz and musical theatre.
