A sudden thought: two large drum hits followed by a minor horn solo; ethereal landscape of tinkling percussion; massive chordal brass. That initial idea became the beginning of "For the End of Time" with few modifications, and the rest of it came from development of the primary theme (introduced in the horn solo) and other bursts of inspiration. A sense of mystery pervades throughout, as open brass chords evoke the shrouded past while the changing meters and open ending alludes to the unknown future. The combination of ancient and forthcoming events along with grandiose and even bombastic intensity culminates into an overarching apocalyptic flair, thus providing the Revelation-esque title of "For the End of Time".

Evocative of longstanding desert civilizations, "Ancient Sands" uses only Middle Eastern instruments and the human voice. It is designed to endlessly loop in a video game setting; here, it fades out after starting the first repeat.

Ancient Sands

"Reclamation" is a somber yet driving piece using organ, choir, solo treble (boy soprano), and taiko. The gravitas and urgency of the situation are equally palpable as hard-won victory or utter destruction hinges upon every action. 

This track is designed to loop and goes exactly twice through the song without a fade-out. When placed on single-song repeat, "Reclamation" loops seamlessly and endlessly.
