This piece was inspired by 2 dear friends. Peter who played the game of creating with chords with me, and Dena who's conversation inspired the nuance, and melodic structure of the piece. 
The piece was played on the piano recently gifted to the Co-Creative Center, that comes from a long lineage of musicians in the Haden family. To me, the best art process is able to capture the essence of the moment.
